  1. No, but there is an important FACT that you are ignoring. This: One of those conditions is "Shipping=$25". You are now BOUND by contract to pay that amount. If you did not want to pay that much, then you should not have bid. BTW, I don't what all this pissing and moaning is about? You got a Vic-20 + drive + a couple carts for ~$35. That's a GOOD deal. So stop bitching and pay the woman. Also, what's your ebay id?
  2. It wasn't clear enough. It took me a full minute to find the underlined section. You should have had it as the FIRST LINE in the auction: You are bidding for MAZE only. Just one cart. Even the title is confusing. Furthermore, why do you have multiple items in one pic? What's so difficult about using Paint to edit out just ONE cart? I'd pay you, but I'd leave a negative stating that your auction is unclear and possibly deceptive and future buyers be careful.
  3. I recall buying a game which stated, "Charge is $10 for priority." Okay cool. So I wrote the bidder and asked it he could ship via meda mail and reduce the shipping price for me. His response: "No." and so I did not bid. That's what you should have done: (1) Asked first for lower shipping and then (2) Don't bid when she refused. You negotiate terms *during* the auction, not after. JETSET: Here is my full disclosure (which you've seen before): Shipping charge is $5.00. - Postage is 1.48 via media mail - Envelope is 1.00. - Ebay fees are 2.00. - The remaining $0.52 is to cover miscellaneous packaging costs.
  4. I didn't think Super Metroid was all that fast. You still had to spend time looking around for hidden objects. BTW, if you liked Mario Sunshine's water gun, then you will LOVE Ratchet & Clank. It too is a platformer with a gun, but with real missiles/bombs/etcetera. R&C is now my 3rd favorite 3D platformer!
  5. No. A crash in games is about as likely as a crash in movies. i.e. Not at all.
  6. I hope jetset and the other persons who worry about shipping "rip-offs" heard you say that. Hmmm. I don't know how shipping to Canada could be cheaper than U.S. shipping? In my experience, it is higher. Also if you were my buyer and you were making such a fuss, I'd just not sell it to you. The End. Why? Because my policy is: "The price is negotiable (highest bidder wins), but the shipping is not." As for the VIC-20... I shipped an Atari 800 a few months ago, and it cost $15 + packaging material cost. I consider $25 to be a slightly high, but not unreasonable charge. I probably would have charged $20 myself. I was already in the situation where I accidently undercharged ($10 for books but it cost me $20), and I don't want to repeat that situation. I'm sure your seller feels the same way.
  7. Well, it's confirmed. Microsoft is dropping the price to $99. But when? No matter. Thanks for your recommendations. Now I know what to get when they DO drop the price.
  8. You can tell if you're being "ripped off" BEFORE you bid. There's no excuse to complain after the auction is closed. None.
  9. Well, it's not as though they've never touched an Atari. If you add up the number who've played an Atari, it exceeds the number who have not.
  10. Metroid Prime is not a Shooter. No wonder you were disappointed. Metroid Prime is basically a hide-n-seek game. The programmers hid missiles, power-ups, et cetera throughout the game, and your job is to go find them. It's actually better to NOT shoot the enemies... just run straight past them and collect the stuff.
  11. I'm not sure but I think I just saw Snoop Dog (the rapper) in a videogame. It flashed by on the TV very quickly, so I could not get a better look,
  12. No. I've looked and looked, but I can not find any reason why these games would be excluded. They SHOULD be free re-listings. I don't understand. Maybe I'll just email ebay and ask, but I know how that will go... I'll never get any response. At least in the past, I've never received any response from their customer service.
  13. The shipping charge was clearly stated. If you felt that it was too high, then you should not have bid. Simple as that.
  14. Did we have touchtone phones in the 80's? Everyone I knew had the old pulse/rotary phones.
  15. A week ago I listed Grandia for sale. No bids. So now I'm selling it again at 99 cents, but Ebay says, "This listing does not qualify as a refundable relisted item." Huh? How can that be? It meets all the requirements of a relisted item, so why am I being charged a second time? I don't understand. . Aside: The same thing happened when I relisted Primal, Tomb Raider, and Beyond Good & Evil. It makes no sense to me.
  16. Now the question is: How much did Rhindle bid? At a certain point, it makes more sense to buy a sealed new copy from amazon.com for only $19.
  17. I meant the library. Considering the game selection, the Box is not worth $100. Of course it's still better than the N-Gage which is worth about $1.
  18. Wimp. Back when I was a kid we had to walk through 10 feet of snow, uphill, both ways.... and we had NO savepoints and we LIKED it that way. Just joking. I don't think we need more savepoints, but we DO need a savepoint just prior to a major boss battle. It sucks when you fight a boss, die, and then get sent back to the beginning of the level. That's how Super Mario Brothers worked, and it was extremely frustrating! I consider that poor game design.
  19. Is In-Ninja any good? I think I'd rather have Pac-Man World 2. I'm disappointed in the Cube's sales. It's still ~500,000 units behind the Xbox. That sucks. The Cube has a much better software library.
  20. Yep. I've been waiting for a price drop. I don't think the Box is worth more than $100.
