  1. Let's see: - Bidders who, even though I say "no credit cards", decide to pay with credit card anyway. - Bidders who never pay period (or respond to emails). - Bidders who never pay/answer emails... and then leave negative feedback... as though it's my fault they did not pay/respond to emails?!?!? - Bidders who, only 6 days after auction end, say "Where's my item?" Uh, we have not invented Star Trek transporters yet. It takes time to ship from Maryland to California dumbass. - Bidders who wait 3 weeks to pay... and then complain that it took 5 weeks for delivery. Well DUH. YOU delayed the shipment dumbass. - Bidders that win an auction... and then email, "Never mind, I bought the item somewhere else." And then they wonder why I file a non-paying bidder alert with Ebay. Here's why: "As a buyer, YOU ARE OBLIGATED TO COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION WITH THE SELLER." Don't bid on ebay if you're not going to follow the rules. Dumbass.
  2. Right now my auctions say: "PLEASE NOTE: I do not accept credit cards." I accept cash, check, or paypal cash. I think that's enough options. I won't add the negative feedback portion... ...although it IS extremely frustrating that the idiots CAN'T READ!!!! If the auction says "I do not accept credit cards" why the hell do people use a credit card anyway? Argh! (deep breath) As you can tell, I have no patience for idiots. I used to run into this problem with customers at JCPenney: HER:"Are these Nike shoes on sale?" ME: "No, just the Reebok brand. :-)" HER:"But the sign says they are on sale." ME: "True, but is ALSO says Reebok. It is clearly marked. It's just Reebok." HER:"No it's misleading." ME: (mumbling silently to myself): 'It's not mis-leading if you learn how to fucking read the word Reebok.' Same applies to Ebay. My auctions say *3 times* that I do not accept credit cards. Why can't the idiot customers comprehend??? (rolls eyes) I think I'm going to start a "Pet Peeves about Ebay" thread.
  3. Mojoliftr... I think you missed my point. The $1-2 fee for every paypal transaction is too much money. That's why I, personally, will never upgrade.
  4. I think my ~95% rating on ebay speaks for my credibility... just read all the positive feedback.
  5. EDITED: "PLEASE NOTE: I accept paypal, but not credit cards. Only Paypal CASH payments. Thank you. :-)" Better? ====================================== I'm thinking about adding this to my listings: "PLEASE NOTE: I do not accept credit cards. If you choose to ignore this warning, you will receive negative feedback. No execptions." I mean seriously. If the auction says, "No credit cards" there's no excuse for some bidder to use a credit card. And it's a MAJOR hassle to go back and reject the payment and get paid in a proper format. Bottom Line: Bidders need to stop being lazy and follow the directions. What's the point of having "Payment Terms" if buyers don't read or follow them??? Anyway, do you guys that line in quotes would come across as too rude?
  6. ...that you know of. I've been there for about six months now.
  7. $2 on a brand-new videogame is not a lot??? I have to disagree with that. Of course, I could pass the $2 onto the buyer... add it to the shipping fee... but I know how everyone here feels about that idea (hate it). 8. The only reason you got "pissed off" is because you jumped to wrong conclusions. I never said anything about disability. In fact, if I had a broken leg, or birth defect, or mental retardation, I'd take disability myself! My objections are to people who are able-bodied but refuse to work. Welcome to the Abyss liquid_sky. You have been nothing but an asshole for the last 6 months.
  9. You're joking right? You really don't know where to find a movie with the 100% ending??? Unbelievable!
  10. I apologize for my last message. I am extremely depressed and frustrated about my situation. I feel that I am a complete and total failure. Sku_u's insults are just making it worse.
  11. I DID. "So it does sound that Unemployment Tax is handled differently than Social Security or Medicare or Welfare Tax... in that it's assessed to the employERS not the employees." You know what? Screw it. I AM FUCING UNEMPLOYED. UI CAN'T GFIND A FUCKIGN JOB. FUCK IT ALL!!!!! LIFE IS SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (REACHES FOR GUN AND AIMS AT THEAD) BAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
  12. I don't like FPSes, but I do like Red Faction. I think the difference is that Red Faction includes an entertaining story that I'm interested in unraveling. Also, Metroid Prime isn't really an FPS. As I said before, it's more a game of hide-n-seek. The programmers hid ~100 items, and your job is to go find them.
  13. I just did... in my last message. I may be "thickheaded", but apparently YOU lack reading comprehension.
  14. If the Unemployment is "insurance" that the employer pays, then I have no qualms taking it. However, I was always told that Unemployment is a TAX... just like Social Security and Medicare and Welfare. I'll go research this further. However, I have an engineering interview on Friday, so maybe this whole discussion will be moot. A quick search turned up this information: "In the United States, unemployment insurance is based on a dual program of federal and state statutes. The program was established by the federal Social Security Act in 1935. Much of the federal program is implemented through the Federal Unemployment Tax Act. Each state administers a separate unemployment insurance program, which must be approved by the Secretary of Labor, based on federal standards..... To support the unemployment compensation systems a combination of federal and state taxes are levied upon employers." So it does sound that Unemployment Tax is handlded differently than Social Security or Medicare or Welfare Tax... in that it's assessed to the employERS not the employees.
  15. First, we have different OPINIONS from one another. Just because my opinion is different from yours is not reason for insults. Second, my car's not insured, so no I wouldn't collect any money for it. I'd just drag it to the junkyard, and then drive my other car. Finally: (1) Unemployment comes from the U.S. government. (2) Where does the U.S. gov't get the money? (3) Pulls it out of people's paychecks. That's my understanding. If I'm wrong, feel free to show me which step is incorrect. . I was working at JCPenney from July to December so that made me ineligible. I could apply now, but I'm probably going to enlist in the Navy or Air Force in February... or else I might get rehired as an engineer... so there's no point in bothering.
  16. 80 and 1/8 megabytes. Why such a strange non-base 2 number??? Is there a coprocessor or some other strange add-on ala Pitfall 2?
  17. Whatever. The corporations are rich. We are not... so we sell stuff out of necessity.
  18. That's not how I look at it. The money I paid has already been spent. It's Gone. That means the money I receive is being taken out of my friends' paychecks. And my neighbors' paychecks. And Your paychecks. I think it's immoral to take money from other people's checks.
  19. reduced framerate = cheating. I just downloaded the last part of the Metroid Movie today, and watched it straight through, and I suddenly realized that this game is basically a collection fest. In retrospect, I think they could have used more bosses and less powerups to make MP more action-oriented instead of hide-n-seek-oriented.
  20. If you just spent a while slogging through a dungeon, and then suddenly a save spot appears... guess what... 90% of the time you're about to fight a boss. I think I originally had ~40 saves for FF10, but then I trimmed it down to my favorite sections. Another thing games should have is a theater so you can go back and watch the FMVs and cutscenes. FF10 has that, and I think it's a brilliant idea. It also lets you hear the nice, calming music instead of buying a soundtrack.
  21. Many Neo Geo games far surpass that. Nope. You are confused. A 128 megabit Neo-Geo cart would only be 8 megabytes... not even close to RE2-N64. And yeah, it was impressive that they could squeeze ~700 megabytes of PS1 movie into only 25 megabytes of ROM (+39 for program= 64 megabytes total).
  22. Never because I am a cheapassgamer who waits until games are $30 or less. I haven't even picked up Soul Calibur yet... still waiting for it to become cheap.
  23. Do you proof that Xenosaga's double-layer DVD was not made to Sony's specs?
  24. Some games do have this. Like Spy Hunter. Or most FPSes like Goldeneye/TimeSplitters. Usually I just create multiple saves. I have around 20 saves for FF10... each just prior to a favorite boss. Unfortunately you can't do that with the Cube's savecard design (Zelda only has 1 save slot per game).
