  1. Must have been extra expensive to buy at the time I think it was ~$60 just like all the other new N64 games.
  2. TRIVIA: The largest cart ever made was 64 megabytes (Resident Evil 2-N64).
  3. I find it difficult to believe that Sony would design a DVD player that can't read DVDs (yes the double-layer is part of the DVD standard). They must be idiots.
  4. That is something that shoud be figured in the minimum bid. In your opinion. In my opinion, the fee should be included in the shipping. Different sellers. Different methods. That's why I can sell a bottle of shampoo for only 0.01 cents...because the fees/packing expenses are included in the $5.00 shipping. And YES, the $1 matters. It could mean the difference between paying my bills and not paying my bills. Yep... alright I'll let the Canadian go without paying surcharge. Still, he hasn't given me any money. I rejected his credit card payment and requested he pay by cash, check, or paypal-cash. No response. Apparently he's decided he'd rather be a non-paying bidder.
  5. - If you're a "hero" and saving the world, walking into strangers' homes and raiding their closets, drawers, and chests is perfectly acceptable. - For heroines, the less armor and more skin revealed, the better. Your heroine will be magically protected from vicious skin-splitting wounds. - All religions, except those that embrace nature, are false and led by corrupt men. Go ahead and add more observations...
  6. Here's my solution Play the 5200 ROM. Why? Because the 5200 version has a second maze to explore. So it's like having 2-games-in-1.
  7. Random Track generator? THAT sounds interesting. I get bored with doing the same thing over-and-over, so maybe I'll go pick up the cart.
  8. Funny... the music companies were just charged with price-fixing on CDs (they agreed to not compete/low-bid one another) by Federal Courts. The courts ordered the music companies to refund money back to their customers. Apparently, nothing's changed. They are still charging ~$14 for CDs that only cost ~$1 to make. . UPDATED: http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?View...&sort=3&rows=50
  9. I try to put myself in the Seller's Shoes: - I just sold a game to some dude named Mindfield. - Now I have to ship it. I need an address. - ebay.com lists his address as 100 Main Street, Anytown, USA - So I ship to that address. I have absolutely no idea that Mindfield typed in the wrong address. How would I know?
  10. I get frustrated when I encounter the roadblocks. I don't know how to get around them except to just ram straight through them like a tank.
  11. Hmmm.... maybe they should rename the group rec.games.video.obsolete or rec.games.video.outofproduction to include all systems that are no longer being made.
  12. I've heard a lot of people discuss this. Is it *really* that much better than NASCAR Heat or NASCAR Thunder? "Have bad have you got it?" Well... I repainted my Dodge Avenger to look like the ones on NASCAR (it has the big ram on the hood).
  13. If you can not adjust to the idea of "square" "triangle" "circle" "X" instead of "A" "B" "X" "Y".... ...it's because you're old and your brain has calcified into a hard, immobile structure. Yes I'm serious. I have absolutely no problem switching between Nintendo or Sony or Keyboard (emulators). All of these are just symbols... it makes no difference if those symbols are letters or shapes. My brain is flexible and can adjust... yours has become old and calciified. . As my old professor used to say: "x=2 or ~=2 means exactly the same thing. x or ~... it's just symbols. Don't get hung up on it."
  14. CPUWIZ is on my ignore list, because he's constantly calling me names and generally being rude. I already did. He used a credit card, which I can not accept, so I refunded the money. Also, you guys think I should be willing to lose some money to keep the Canadian happy, but you are forgetting: I DON'T HAVE A JOB. I can not afford to lose money... not even one single dollar... to higher shipping costs. If I had a job, then I'd just shrug my shoulders and ship the game and lose $1. But I don't. It sucks, but that's my situation. In fact, if I had a job, I wouldn't even be on ebay. I'd be keeping all this stuff for myself.
  15. Yes, you set a fine example for a moderator. Congratulations... you have earned the privilege of being the 1st person on my ignore list. Really? Well, that's news to me. I suppose $3.85 is not too bad. Still more costly than American shipping.
  16. I see... that stuff doesn't happen in the PS1 version. The police can be seen ahead of time and avoided.
  17. ATARI = Breakout & Space Invaders - my first videogames! C=64 = Elite. The first videogame that created a realistic world to explore. I spent HOURS exploring space... it was amazing! PS2 = Final Fantasy 10. An interactive movie that totally blew me away. This game revived my interest in gaming, and I instantly upgraded from 16-bit to 128-bit!
  18. Gamegirl's Interests: sex, programming, porn... Hmmm... I bet gamegirl resembles her avatar about as much as I do.
  19. P.P.S. Now the guy wants airmail! He expects me to ship airmail for only $5?!?!?!?!? Screw him. He just earned himself negative feedback for being a dumbass. I've sold to 4 Canadians in the last year, 1 was cool, but 3 have been problems. I'm sorry to the Canadians in this thread for excluding you from auctions, but you should blame your fellow countrymen for being such lousy bidders.
  20. Then it's your fault. It's not the seller's responsibility to look at Paypal and double-check your typos. That's YOUR responsibility to double-check your typos and make sure all the information is correct. That said, I think I would complain to the post office. I often receive packages without my apartment number, because the post office is intelligent enough to *match the name on the label to the name on the mailbox*. Why your postal person could not do that is... well, really stupid. Anyway, you owe the seller money. You made a mistake. Now you must pay for it. . EDIT: Also you don't know the seller's financial situation. Maybe your seller, like me, is jobless and can not afford to lose the money. If you have a job and can pay up for your mistake, then do so.
  21. (rolls eyes) I REPEAT: First off, you guys forgot that I said: However, the "unique" games like Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie and Paper Mario and Ocarina of Time will become classics that never die, and I'm sure we'll see ports of these games to the Gameboy 3D around ~2010. Second, aren't you guys getting just a little... overly excited? I was merely expressing my opinion that F-zero X has been replaced by F-zero GX... similar to how Gran Turismo 2 was replaced by the far more advanced (but essentially the same game) GT3... or how Madden 2000 was replaced with Madden 2004. That is all. Calm down.
  22. SUBJECT: What if...? ...people used DESCRIPTIVE subjects so we don't have to waste our time loading messages to see what they are about?
  23. (shakes head) People who can't read Hexadecimal shouldn't be allowed to touch computers. (just kidding). It's simple to compare: 90 is higher than 80 F0 is higher than 80 F0 is higher than E0 100 is higher than 90 100 is higher than F0 Just compare the two scores, and it should be obvious which is higher.
  24. First off, you guys forgot that I said: However, the "unique" games like Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie and Paper Mario and Ocarina of Time will become classics that never die, and I'm sure we'll see ports of these games to the Gameboy 3D around ~2010. Well... no... but I DO prefer the Super Nintendo versions on Mario All-Stars. Same game. Better sound/graphics. Most people do. They trade-in their N64 for a Cube. They abandon the old games and get their upgraded/more graphically advanced versions. . By the way, aren't you guys getting just a little... overly excited? I was merely expressing my opinion that Mario Kart 64 has been replaced by MK Double Dash... similar to how Gran Turismo 2 was replaced by the far more advanced (but essentially the same game) GT3... or how Madden 2000 was replaced with Madden 2004. That is all. Calm down.
