    I can faintly see the frames of my glasses even when I'm not wearing them. Is this normal? I'm trying to decide if my retinas get 'burn-in' (longer than an after-image) or if it's psychological.

      It's not butn-in in your retina. But instead it is in your brain. This effect is very real.

      You need to color shift your frames to prevent burn-in.
