I switched to Chrome a while back because Firefox was freezing up all the time. Now I'm thinking of switching back.

  I got Firefox 39.0, so far all versions were crashing on me.
  
  I do, however, have about 30 tabs open at any giving moment, so that can be a problem. I do notice that from time to time some versions are stable then others.

  @Albert: When I click on the sign in, nothing happens! I tried to reboot Firefox again and still the same results!
