  Funny, isn't it? I remember when the X Window System and its hodgepodge of widget sets was something that Windows people would unfavorably compare with the consistency of the Windows UI. Now Windows is almost as fragmented.

  I remember windows 3.1 and I installed an OS/2 window manager. That was cool, especially when I ran it under OS/2. Those were the days.
