Even today, when I see something referring to the Jaguar they have no idea what the 64-bit debate was about. It's really not very complicated as all modern systems are hybrids of some sort.
Every time I launch an iOS app that hasn't been updated to work with the 64-bit OS, I think of Jaguar. Stuff like Trevor McFur should have been shamed with a pop-up that said, "This app may slow down your phone."
Yeah, whether a game console is 32-bit or 64-bit doesn't really tell you very much when there are so many other factors which influence performance and game quality more.
