  1. Very cool. Thank you for sharing. Putting it on my LTO
  2. Wow! Thank you very much. Really looking forward to playing this on my INTV. I really enjoy the arcade version. Happy holidays!
  3. Interesting. I'm assuming the cable was never released for purchase? I have a long play and would be interested in the cable as well.
  4. Hey Spear, sorry to hear about that. Hope everything is ok and works out. Wishing you the best during a difficult time.
  5. Hahaha, well, it'll be up to First Spear then. It's packed and I'm shipping it out today! Highly recommend X-Ray and Dilligas for those who haven't played. I'm not very good, but I couldn't stop playing.
  6. X-Ray and Dilligas are both very addictive for sure.
  7. I found that the thumb stick option is the best by far. The disc option that is provided out of the box can be difficult for some games that require quick, precision movements (BurgerTime for example), however, after switching it out for the thumbstick I had a much better experience. Overlays don't completely fit into the slot (the top of the overlay sticks out), but that's a minor quibble that does not affect the gameplay.
  8. Busy summer. Will look to ship it out next week when I return from vacation.
  9. DK3 is super underrated. Fun game. Is the NES port the only console version? It's the only one I can recall.
  10. List as of Dec 16 2022 US: 1. Humblejack (completed) 2. JoeM Intellivision (in posession) 3. cvga (next) 4. zendocon 5. Illtiger1 6. First Spear 7. Colormesticky 8. Wolfy62 Canada: 9. rietveld 10. mr intv US: 11.Tlinder 12. Psycho Strormtrooper 13. Coleco Gamer 14. ???
  11. I'm next on the list, but haven't been contacted by Zendocon yet for my address.
  12. I cleaned everything that connects or comes from the TV with 91% alcohol and it's still snowy.
  13. So of course, I didn't play my 5200 for a few days and powered it up over the weekend and the snow is back. I cleaned the terminals to and from the switchbox and tried changing the channel option on the back of the system and neither fixed the issue. Here is what it looks like now again.
  14. This game still absolutely rules. When I was very young, my dad had an Intellivision and it was my first experience playing videogames. It was my dad's favorite game along with football which he always said/says were both way ahead of their time. Whenever I have friends over and break out the Intellivision, this is one I always have everyone try and they are always blown away by how good it is. Bats are the most annoying, but I hate the blobs most.
  15. Good idea. I'll clean give them a good cleaning with some alcohol even if everything seems to be ok currently. As far as interference, I had the same issues with it when I used to set it up in my old game room as well. It's the only system I have that has this issue. I have other rf connected systems like INTV, VCS, and Odyssey 2 that I never have snowy screen issues with.
  16. Wow, that's very kind of you. Thank you! I'm hoping it stays fine this time, but it has been having this issue on and off the past few years. Really enjoying the 5200 lately. Just cleaned my trackball bearings which were giving me major issues and it's working great. Having a blast with Centipede and Missile Command. Might be the best trackball I've ever used.
  17. Yes, the original switchbox and power supply are still in use which originally came with the system. I have it hooked up to a late 90s Sony Trinitron CRT. I had the power supply hooked up to a power strip sharing power with the TV and a phone charger.
  18. Thank you all for the replies. I turned the system back on this morning to play and the snow is gone. I played quite a bit with Missle Command and Super Breakout with no issue. I didn't do anything different or adjust the wires. I remember this being an issue in the past with this system. Strange.
  19. I've been having an issue with my 4 port 5200. When I hook everything up and put the power on, the screen is very snowy. I bought another switch box thinking that maybe mine was the issue, but it does the same on the newer one. Here is a picture:
  20. From the info on here CVGA was sending it to zendocon. I'm next!!!
  21. Ah, the age old question appears again. I have both a XEGS and 5200 that I purchased much later in my gaming days as I never had either (or an Atari 8 bit computer) growing up. In my opinion, the 5200 is a unique experience that can't really be duplicated. If you're willing to spend some extra money to get a good working 5200 controller from best electronics for example, I highly recommend getting a 5200. If you just want to play the 8 bit/5200 library and don't really care too much about the experience of the 5200 analog controller, then an 8 bit is the way to go since all of the 5200 games have been ported and homebrewed. You could then get a flashcart from Atarimax and basically get the entire library for it.
