  1. It was not shorter or easier. The The action sequences were the same and the room layout was the same. The objects had to be placed into different rooms than in the original. The onscreen clues were not page and panel numbers, but were the clue number. The written clues were given to us on type written 8 1/2 x 11 pieces of paper. I have never played the PAL version and I don't know how to dump the cart. I have been hoping that one of the other semi-finalists would have copy of those type written clues tucked away somewhere.
  2. I have the e-prom, but have lost my copy of the written clues that were used in the original playoff competition. Can anyone help me?
  3. Are any of the other SWORDQUEST finalists members of the ATARIAGE FORUMS, or does anyone have a list of them or contact info for them?
  4. I have the official Fireworld Tee Shirt tons of photos from the tour of San Francisco, Chinatown, and Alcatraz and the Eprom cart from the playoffs, but I can't find my copy of the written clues from the finals.. -Rick
  5. I was one of the 50 finalists in FireWorld. When we got to the actual contest room, they gave us the standard cart to practice with. When the playoff contest began, they took away that cart and gave us a specially programmed EPROM with the objects changed to different rooms. They gave us a printed list of clues to help us determine which objects belonged in which rooms to get the on screen verification that it was right. I was wondering if any of the other finalists kept and still has a copy of the printed clue list. I kept mine, but I can't find it in all the stuff I accumulated over the years. If so, I would like to get a copy of it to put with my other keepsakes of the contest.
  6. Does anyone still have a copy of the printed clues that they gave us for the special playoff cartridge during the finals of FireWorld?
