Thing about Atari, you could use a different controller every day for a month and not run out of choices.

I use different controllers for different games, like I use the master system controller to play Human Cannonball and the genesis controller to play Yars Revenge.

doh. I meant Phantasy Star 1, not 2. I do have 2 on the Genesis, but not with box like the SMS one. I also have the JP version because it came with the JP SMS (which are harder to find than the US systems). I like how it has FM, but I play the US one since I can read the text. I'll probably play the re-translation when or if I get a flash cart so I can have the best of both worlds.

Another thing I noticed is that some EU games like Sonic or Sonic 2 can often sell for more than they are worth on US auction, but are actually pretty cheap from EU sellers.

Good idea, but probably not for the 2600. I somehow see the Odyssey² as more of a "Doctor Who" console. It looks like something they would have used as a prop in one of the Tom Baker shows.

Yeah in retrospect thats kinda a joke, the months thing, been taking forever to find the companions. Still I like the game!

I loved it back in the day, but I remember having to call the hint line to figure out where the final dungeon is. I finished it, though, and have the Polaroid to prove it!

Tazmania will work fine on a US system, I used to have it and a ton of european sms games.

Tazmania for the SMS is considered by many to be the best of the three versions. To each his own though.

Been reading about the Wonderswan myself in this months Retro Gamer, its a cool underrated handheld, thinking on sourcing one myself after reading about it.

You can get a really good conditioned boxed one for around $25-30
