  1. I know nothing about them outside of the fact that I want one for the sheer novelty.
  2. Two weeks ago I had an exceptionally good day garage sailing. Fastforward to now,Because I just sold "Tail Concerto" the Commodore 64,1541 Disk Drive,Okidata 120 printer,PS1 Arcade Stick,GTA,and Luigi's mansion I also bought that day are essentially free! Thats a nice way to look at it.

You mean sale-ing, not sailing. Unless you sailed in your garage and then went to garage sales.

  3. I'm not sure this position is understandable to some,I don't like emulators really but Im not against them either.

As the self-proclaimed AtariAge Emulator Psychologist I suggest:

1- Recognize the many benefits of emulators. No clutter, 100% reliability, runs on contemporary hardware, save states, under and over clocking, continual improvement, and great portability.

2- Take the time to set them up correctly and you will be rewarded indefinitely.

3- Emulators exude a permanence like no physical console can.

There's more but you need to make an appointment.

I can relate. Emulators are a useful tool, but I don't really like playing games on them. They serve a purpose, and I'm on't against them, but I don't particularly like them.

Keatah I have made my position clear,be gone with your useless evangelizing. BydoEmpire I agree with you completely.

  4. I like Nintendo,I don't like patent trolls.
  5. My guess would be because very few people actually own one. Interesting observation though.
  6. These later levels in Bucky O'hare are making me question the existance of God. I mean Jesus Christ.

  7. Here my new Commodore 64 sits all broken hearted without software waiting for me to get some damn money so I can buy something from binaryzone or an SD Card reader...

There are so many great C-64 games! I've been picking up a bunch of RPGs and text adventures over the last year or so. Man, I miss the days when companies put care into the packaging of their games...

  8. Up for sale is a fair to good copy of the rare Atlus title "Tail Concerto" for the PS1 CIB. The manual looks good but has suffered a little crinkling due to humidity. The Disk itself has several light scratches but loads and plays fine. Asking $60 shipped or a Commodore 64 Sd card reader. A few more pics of the disk can be found here: http://www.imageshack.com/user/williamhjones101
  9. You may have a point. As to my price I based it off ebay and made it a pretty low median so no one may want them BUT at least the price I'm asking isn't horrible.
  10. I'm actually new to the Commodore 64. Always wanted one. Found it,a printer, and a disk drive CIB for a very cheap price the other day at a yard sale! Lot of cool games. The first two I want to play are Wasteland and the Gina sisters.
  11. Up for sale or trade. Both in excellent condition (Though the printer box itself is a bit dinged up) Looking to get about $70 out of these plus shipping (Shipping cost is to be determined and if it becomes overly excessive I may lower the price a bit) but what I really want is an SD card reader for my newly acquired C64. Its very unlikely I know but if you have a spare and want to collect a disk drive and printer CIB Id be happy to trade, just pay shipping. I am also always looking for Atari and Famicom stuff but it would have to be something substantial. I got a guy on craigslist who emailed me offering an atari joystick and three games, lol.
  12. I just got a C64 at a yard sale, the price I payed will make you angry ,and have no games. Maybe I should give it a try though I'm not sure I have the patience. Got any links to actual code for me to try?
  13. Buying untested or broken is a great way to get a console cheap. You just have to use common sense like as you suggested seeing what else they sell.
  14. This is actually the unit Ive been looking at on ebay. The price is right so its nice to know someone here likes it.
  15. No but I really really really really really want one. Because I'm unemployed(and some say unemployable, lol) Im just going to go with the cheapest sd card reader for the C64 I can find on ebay and hope for the best.
  16. Seems to be as save2600 described it. I don't have an eprom programmer but I want one!
  17. Makes sense. Thought it was something like that.
  18. So I picked up a CIB Commodore 64,CIB disk drive, and CIB printer at a yard sale today for a price that will make you angry. Anyway It all looks so new I thought it was never used but then I saw this thing sticking out of the cart slot. After some intense googling I am coming up with nothing. When its in the slot and I turn on the 64 it says Express ready. Could this be some kind of third party ram expansion or something?
