What was YOUR very first computer?
Joeyboots80 replied to OldSchoolRetroGamer's topic in Classic Computing Discussion
The first computer I ever used was an Apple IIe at school, but the first computer I owned was an Atari 800 with 48k of RAM. Star Raiders, Rogue, Ultima III, Missile Command, and a vastly superior version of Pac-Man. Man, those were good times. Or so says my trusty pair of nostalgia-fueled-rose-tinted-glasses. -

Hey Bill, it seems they may be considering a SteamOS/Linux version after all. https://www.gamingonlinux.com/articles/atari-vault-released-for-windows-linux-build-coming-soon.6891 Hopefully they do indeed release a version for SteamOS/Linux, until then I am using WINE. -
I play a lot of games, both modern and retro, computer and console, but the last three retro games I played are: Star Raiders (Atari 2600) King of Dragon Pass (WINE running on Fedora 23) Nethack (Linux version running on Fedora 23)

Thanks for the quick response Bill. Man, that's a bummer. I hope they change their mind on this in the future, but until then, WINE it is. Thanks again Bill, have a great day. -

I know you have already been asked about console versions of this collection, but I want to know if there are plans to port this to Linux and Mac OSX? I was a little bummed when I found out it's Windows only. I am a Linux user and would love to not have to use WINE to play this. Any idea about this Bill?
