So I have the Lynx Sd. The old seemed to not work so I sent it in to get replaced. And now the replacement doesn't work as well. My lynx turns on and the "insert game" message is on screen. But it doesn't go away. It just says "insert game" indefinitely. And I waited a whole minute just to see if it was slow for some reason. But nothing.

 

But I wondered if anyone else who has this, I wanna ask: how is your micro sd card set up? I just threw "A-G, H-P, Q-Z" folders on the root of the card and filled each one with the roms. Is there supposed to be any special file on this to make it run correctly? Or a special folder I need to create? I have a feeling that I'm just not setting up my memory card correctly because two in a row not working is very strange.

 

 

When it came, I took the memory card the guy stuck in there and FAT32 formatted it to start fresh.

There's a list at the beginning of this thread I work through, I'm just waiting on getting some more carts through at the moment, then I'll start shipping again. Shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks to clear the list once I get some carts in!

That sounds good. Thing is, my friend and I both want one. Do you have a one-per-person rule?

The door is too keep dust and junk out. What if you just kept a cart in there all the time to do the same thing. Or is it not good to leave carts in for extended periods. And it looks a little tricky to take apart anyway.

It's my friends first lynx. Very special. He just wants it exactly as it was when he first got it. It's a gift

Is it possible to get a replacement cartridge door for lynx model 1? Anyone ever heard of those being sold? My lynx has no door over the cartridge slot

[Lynx 1 repair questions]

I got a lynx that has a few repair needs and wondered if anyone knows what I can do

 

First off, the port for plugging in the AC adapter is completely gone on this unit. The piece inside literally broke off and is missing. Right inside the power port hole, I can see the little pieces of solder sticking up out of the board.

 

Also it's missing the door on the catridge slot.

 

Finally the A button on the bottom right of the unit is stuck.

 

Can anyone point me where to get replacement parts or repairs?
