Although I am no where near any sort of a collection, I am starting to accumulate a few titles and would like to keep a checklist with me for when I am out hunting for carts in the wild. Anyone know where I could get a checklist for 2600, 7800 and NES? Thanks, p

I have an original playstation that is now no longer working...I get the audio screen and that's it. I tried cleaning the lens and regreasing the gears....but still no go. Any suggestions, aside from buy a new one? Do they sell the lens portion seperate...how can I be sure it isn't a problem with the main board. The cd will spin and then stop, spin and then stop. Any suggestions would be appreciated. late, p

chewed them down to $15 and carried it out the door. I haven't tested it yet to see if it works, but will. It came with all the hookups, controls, 3 games(breakout, space invaders, combat - all with instructions, also a set of inst. for video olympics but no cart). It's a six switcher and the owners manual was also in the box along with the atari catalog. Heeding the advice of some of the responders I am not going to just throw it in a closet, but rather clean it up and send it off to my best friend in New Orleans(hopefully it will bring back some good memories for him as my atari's do for me). late, p

Why? Elaborate. Do you think it's worth it(I know all Ataris are worth it, but cost-effectively speaking...there are other prizes that the money could be used for)? Would you? Why? thanks

As bad as yesterday sucked, today is a great day! Thanks to CPUWIZ's guidance and problem solving, I was able to revive both machines. Granted, I am no electrician and my work was a completely hack job, but those little guys are ready to play games again I am off to buy some 7800 carts to celebrate. Thanks to everyone for their advice and help. I even managed to mount a different PSU connection on the 7800, so now she is ready for gaming action! Thanks again Late, p

I think I made a huge blunder and killed not only a newly aquired 7800 but a 2600 as well. To explain my stupidity, I recently picked up a 7800 that of course had no PSU. I looked through the posts and read the 7800 FAQ and decided to do the power mod. After going to RadioCr*p which had none of the parts I needed, I ventured off on my own idea. Basically, I have a plug that I use for my 2600 that is a universal, you plug the appropriate male end on and your ready to go. Well, when removing this portion I thought, hey I could just carve this up a bit and make it fit into the 7800. I did it, plug it in and it worked, red light on "Yeah!"...and then off "NO!"...dead. Like an idiot, I think, maybe it's the plug, throw the male end back on and plug it into my 2600, not paying attention to the polarity. I smell the fumes. I feel absolutely sick to my stomach. I feel like I killed two of my kids. If anyone can help, I would gladly send these units to be looked at and possibly saved. They're not in super great shape or anything, but they are Ataris and I shudder to think that I have made them useless. I made a giant mistake, please help.
