  1. You would go to the SNUG site and at the bottom of the page is a link to contact Harald or Michael. They will contact you on how and what to pay for the card. Once they contact me I ship to you and you then you owe me the shipping marked on the package. The SNUG card is a more advanced device than the TI sidecar synthesizer. I've always wanted to get deeper into programming this card with existing TI software but can never seem to get the time.
  2. BTW, the last version of the BWG is 1.8 making it a very stable disk controller. If you happen to get one of the early version BWG I can upgrade it to the 1.8 version.
  3. The only cards I have left from the last SNUG shipment out of Germany is the Speech card for the PEB. Only three left if I remember correctly. You contact Harald or Michael and pay them then they tell me to send you the card shipping from Staten Island.
  4. I've forgotten almost everything I once knew about this little machine but if I can get the time who knows what kind of peeking and poking I might do. lol
  5. I have malwarebytes but going by atrax27407's post ^^^ it may be Chinese being interpreted as a virus. I'll try the update since the software is already installed in English and that may clear things up.
  6. Just tried D/loading version 6.70 from the link atrax27407 posted ^^^ and my machine deleted it because it contained a virus. Anyone else?
  7. I hope they added some chips that we use in the TI/Geneve world.
  8. I have a PFM+ mini tower Geneve with "Windows" installed, a "work" Geneve I use for repairs upgrades and a few Geneves in various stages of broken that I plan to bring back from the dead if I ever get TI/Geneve time on the weekends again. Looking forward to taking your version of "My Term" for a spin when you get around releasing it.
  9. Something in the tablet family of devices might be a nice companion screen for the CC-40............just thinking aloud.
  10. I have a Dallas chip here ready to pop in one of those 2nd version boards.
  11. Actually, the price on the RS232 wasn't that bad. As I recall it took me years to be able to buy mine as they were not something you found everyday like the Games I cart. The little modem was way more easy to come by and all most people were interested in in the 80's along with the Memo processor. Not surprised about the EA cart.
  12. Yes, the SNUG ASCSI is the preferred controller. The 1.6 upgrade on the WHT series of controllers brings them as close to the SNUG ASCSI as you can get them.
  13. Be aware that the WHT SCSI "E," "F," and "G" controllers require the version 1.6 upgrade to be dependable in all operations and also PDMA (Pseudo Direct Memory Access) compatable for the Geneve.
  14. Count me in for one of each 2nd version.
  15. This used to be an uncommon problem but as our Geneves continue to age and thermal cycles add up it's becoming more common.
  16. The battery died in my 8k constant memory cart so I thought I'd take a few pics for those that have never seen one and also a pic of the 16k ram cart.
  17. I'm guessing that must be an in house mod. My RS232 is dated 1982. What's the date on your label?
  18. BTW, for those that don't know the pins next to the square hole in the PCB are the parallel port. If you needed it you would run a ribbon cable from the connector through the square hole to your printer.
  19. You just never know. I've posted stuff at the same price I paid for it and didn't get a bid then other times I got three times what I paid.
  20. Did some playing today with my little CC-40 and RS232. Here are some pics of the CC-40 RS232 for those that have never seen one.
  21. Made some time for TI fun this weekend and what fun I'm having. Made my first log-in to the Heatwave BBS with my little CC-40 that I used when traveling back in the day for BBSing until I got a laptop. Very straight forward process with the CC-40 RS232 and null modem adapter and wimodem232. Yahooooooooo!
  22. If you can read the label on your BWG EPROM and the label on your PAL what version does it show?
  23. Thanks for taking the time, Jon. BTW, I wonder if anyone ever took a look at the code of the memo processor software? I seem to recall a bug that would intermittently knock me off-line back in the day. Do you recall this bug, Jon? Charlie Good wrote about this too as I recall. I used the little CC-40 before I got a laptop when traveling with the little 300 baud modem to keep in contact with my wife via the Hidden Reef BBS.
