IMO, homebrews have the best attract screens, especially if music is part of the 'attract' as it is usually on loop, I would suggest: Toyshop Trouble Lady Bug (no music though) Thrust (beautiful text effect with one of the best 2600 tracks EVER)

any updates on this awesome project?
-
TONS of Super Breakout, Lady Bug, and Dragonfire
-
I smell mass conspiracy & alien involvement!
-
Was my #3, KILLER game
-
I'll also add Fall Down as #6 on my list, BUT IMO it is one of the best 2P experiences on the 2600, simple and damn fun
-
1. Lady Bug 2. Chetiry 3. Thrust+ 4. Toyshop Trouble 5. Lead Lady Bug is SUCH a masterpiece, and IMO better than arcade version, the ways you can control the maze are more significant and really impact gameplay, corresponding doors turn simultaneously

Just got a copy of Dark Chambers, and realizing quickly how simple a 'Gauntlet' game it is, although it actually precedes Gauntlet, being based on a game called 'Dandy' I believe. Its fun but grows old fast, but was thinking, could/should it be upgraded by a homebrewer to include job classes, power ups, and theme levels Thoughts?

Zen out AA ers, pen a 5-7-5 Haiku for your current favorite game:) Moonsweeper Blue and green planets Occasional red blast fest Fuck you solar flare
-
LOVE that these existed, discovered through this thread so thank you:) Has anyone ever toyed with the idea of making new patches and running a service rewarding screens again? I bet the hardcore would pay reasonably, so could be made to be profitable. I know I'd pay. Albert?

Overrated - Berzerk, horribly repetetive Underrated - Moonsweeper wins hands down, I can play this game longer than any other title, unique control on planet landing screen really adds spice, controls like no other VCS game, amazing graphics for the time, and plays 'swing low sweet chariot' on death? cmon, its awesome

I have this same issue with all pitfall carts on a 2600 junior! I've learned to love me some crackle when playing Pitfall:)
-
Anxious to play How similar is gameplay to Toyshop Trouble? (have heard comparisons)
-
120, last was moonsweeper along with 2 keypads for synthcart:)
-
PLEASE dont let this die, especially a cart release!
-
eshu - that is really nice work, thank you! Looks like you have the nice animated power ups down
-
theloon - any updates?
-
LOVE it, most played next to both Pitfalls, Breakout, and Phoenix Sure its not a 4K game, blah, blah, but it works so well, amazing conversion, well balanced, amazing graphical and sound achievement. Any hardcore Tetris lover should own. Wish every cart had high score save, adds so much IMO. One small gripe - when pieces are up against right or left border they sometimes cannot be rotated unless pulled away from border - glitch?

A for Atari:)
