First of all Mr. Price is legend. Nice game, nice protection and nice message to the cracker. Up to now worth a story to tell. I only saw that once in an Atari ST program where crackers were offered a job. I can't remember me dumping anything to disks before I used the freezer sRabe and Replay. I used the good old sherlock sector editor, a pen, paper, my 6502C instructions reference book and the source code of the operating system. Later there was a sector editor with a disassembler included. That made it quite easy. And I remember writing my own disassembler/source generator for special purposes. And to be clear: There was NO crack without intro/fingerprint. In the beginning it was changing "copyright" to "copyleft". Very funny. I know. Later there were some more or less entertaining intros. Awful things similar to this one And yes. It is a shame but I liked the C64 crew fairlight. They did some nice intros which inspired my own. Besides that. Hmmm. Steve Zipp, Yogi, Kilroy, the guys from Copy Service Stuttgart (CSS), Atomic Team later there were some freaks from Poland (?) High Tech Team.
