I fully support the new Atari. Naysayers be damned I have a good feeling about this whole thing. I think they could do really well.

This current incarnation of Atari will become HUGE. My prediction is we will all be surprised at how many units this thing sells I think itll have some kind cool fun free online service that makes it enticing.

Doesn't the current Atari have Nolan Bushnell on the board of directors? You'd think that at the very least Atari has blessing from him. Not that that matters though because most of the individuals that were the heart and soul of the original Atari are likely dead or retired by now.. we can only hope the youngsters that have taken up the reigns can make a brand worthy of the name ATARI. I would like to see a new fresh Atari that learns from the mistakes of the company's past and becomes relevant again with young people.

I love that modem too. I own three different USR modems, a 2400e 1988 courier, a 56 k courier, and the 56k fax modem pictured in this thread
