  1. You have it right where my heart is at. It's hard for me to compromise my love and the appeal of that classic Atari shape. I also don't plan on playing it 24/7 as well. It would be more of a between class/can't sleep/all-my-friends-are-in-class-right-now kind of deal. Plus, I plan on playing Warlords and Pong now and again with my roommates.
  2. Sorry. Noob moment. I haven't really looked closely at a junior before; they never really caught my eye before.
  3. My first Atari was a 7800 and I sold it because I wasn't too fond of the controllers and the difficulty switches. Plus, I recall the 7800 wouldn't take Coleco carts. Where I live it's impossible to find 7800s and their hardware anymore. I actually find more 5200 carts than the 7800. I can't really do emulators. Something about them just doesn't feel right when I play. Also, what av cable does the 2600 Jr. use?
  4. Does a 2600 Jr. fit all 3rd-party cartridges?
  5. Hahaha! At that point I think people would be more impressed with a pong console than a Jaguar!
  6. Pretty much! The dorms are actually "apartment style" housing, but they look like sheds on a hill! My current situation is that I'm bringing two CRT TV's. One is a small 8x7" screen for my desk and the other is a full 17x13". My local store currently has 8 four swith woodies, one vader, and one 2600 Jr. with the large rainbow. If only possible...
  7. Hello! I'm planning on taking a 2600 to college with me for the upcoming semester, but what I can't figure out is which to bring? I'm currently planning on using my light sixer, but I feel it is too rare, along with my Tele-Games four switch. I'd like to take a Vader, but that could be too rare as well. What are your thoughts? I'm mostly worried that it could get hurt in a college dorm. Any help is appreciated.
