  1. Actually debating between getting a PS4 or Wii-U right now. I was originally just going to go for a PS4 but I really don't want to end up paying £55 per game... if that's the case, I would rather just use my PC to play more demanding games as they are cheaper on Steam/Origin. The games on the Wii-U are a lot cheaper and might be worth it to give the exclusives a try... and I can use it for Netflix and the usual stuff too.

      You should get a Wii U this year, and get a PS4 next year when the PS4 has more games.

      PS4 has much more potential, but there's no doubt that right now Wii U is the preferred console in my house. However, since you are not a big Nintendo first party guy, you'll need to really think hard about it; for me, it was an easy decision.
