    I am never buying another new videogame console.  Feels good to be off the rollercoaster. Launch day? Don't care.

      I bought a PS4 for No Man's Sky & GTA V. Other than that it's been mostly disappointing. The killer games at launch for PS5? Remastered games including No Man's Sky & GTA V. Same games. My cassettes still work fine. No need to get CDs.

    A shout out to the lawn service for my neighbor, who I swear are just revving up their weed wackers to make noise. Nice to have them come by weekly. I was tired of being able to hear myself think.

    I wonder if Adobe ever tests their software before unleashing it on the public? Probably saves them a lot of time and money to have paying customers find all of their bugs for them. #IHateAdobeMustBeADayThatEndsInY

      Look on the bright side. The CEO that was running things at Adobe now works for Maxon. So we got that going for us. Which is nice. That and the total consciousness on our death beds thing.

    Sort of lost interest in pop culture after 2003 or so. My co-workers discuss the newest superhero movie and I'm looking for a new band or movie from the 80s to discover. The era seems more genuine. Today's culture is throwaway; lots of CGI, pop music, but little substance. YMMV.

    My new Mac Mini left Hong Kong at 8:26 PM, 2/11/19, and arrived in Anchorage, Alaska at 3:25 PM, 2/11/19 – five hours earlier. At this rate it will get here yesterday!

    Well, I bought No Man's Sky tonight, and am quite pleased. The new patch and sale really up its price/content ratio.

      Agreed. I finally tracked down an NTSC Warlords of Atlantis and rewatched that recently. Fun stuff. Hadn't seen that since the drive-in in 1978.

      I doubt Ritchie could play anything off the new album. Or any DP album since Steve Morse took over guitar duties in 1994. I love Ritchie but Steve's a monster that's take DP in a new direction.
