  1. Any good gaming expos around london soon?

  2. That looks awesome! Same I can't come as I live in europe...
  3. Oops, didn't notice that. Thanks for the help.
  4. I've been using vBb on a portable hard drive and an idea came into my head: The problem with using vBb on a portable hard drive is that the settings won't stay (as they get saved to registry). What I'm asking for is a feature to save vBb's settings to a file (Like a .ini file) located in the same directory as VisualbB.exe and have the settings load when you open vBb.
  5. Well, it seems (or should I say it is) very unfinished... for one thing the game feels to slow for me. (Are you going to make it faster as the game goes along?) I think the crow should make a sound and change visually when its hit. (As in having it explode or it falling of the screen. One last thing I dislike is how the game just freezes when you lose. But big trees from little acorns grow and I hope that this can turn into a fun 2600 game.
  6. SCART is a pain when it doesn't seem to fit correctly...

      (sorry, I deleted that comment).

RJ-45 connectors are the same as UTP connectors. They look like telephone plugs. Cheap and reliable. hdmi should have been made with rj-45 plugs.

  7. vbB is working ok, I just need to figure out how to make a title screen! Thanks.
  8. I see. I'll stick to the normal bB. But is vbB 554 the latest version? And does what you said mean that the title screen wizard is only in a special build of vbB? This should be the last of my questions.
  9. I'm not sure what you mean, could you be less vague? You say that like debugging bB is a bad thing, am I missing something? EDIT: As I'm here I may ask another vBb question: Does VisualbB_1.0_Build_554 have the title screen kernel?
  10. I've been having one issue with this emulator, some roms (Like this homebrew WIP) will give out something like this: And NONE of the cartage formats the emulator lets me select work. What I would like is an option for "Show all cartage formats" so I can find the right format instead of being limited to 5 formats to select. @Random Terrain: You forgot the Atari ST mouse.
  11. A couple of questions: Is this compatible with VBb? If I compile a with a non 64k game with the normal bB and then compile the same game with this modified version, will there be a difference between the two .bin files?
  12. Brainstormed some idea's for 2600 games, just need to get the latest version of VBB with title screen kernel support...

Does VisualbB_1.0_Build_554 have the title screen wizard?

      ...does anyone know?

  13. Oh, I see. Hopefully I have the money to pay it all off.
  14. When you said "Package value" I thought you meant import tax, am I correct?
  15. This status update only exists to make the previous one redundant.

If you've got nothing, then pimp for your favorite system. Something like "7800 NINJA GOLF!!!" : )

I only have Donkey Kong JR 7800, Crystal Castles 2600, and Asteroids 7800 (Built In), so it could be hard to chose. :P

  16. So I may have to pay aorund £38.38...? Still, thanks for the help.

I should think it's because it was posted early on a Sunday morning. Over here, anyway. I don't have answers, but give us lazy Yanks a chance to get stirring! :-)

Darned time zones, hopefully I'll get a reply or two later today.

  17. You could also try using the titlescreen kernel, if you take your time to figure it out.
  18. Hello AA users. I've been interested in a homebrew game (Pac Man collection) for my atari 7800, but I'm a little confused on 2 things: 1. How much does it cost in GBP? According to Google, it would cost £19.19, is this correct? 2. I live in England, will I have to pay import tax? Thanks in advance.
