  1. Awful lot of people on this thread who have never played Mangia. Every time the cat appears in the window it's like a high pitched alarm going off
  2. Slaton TX? Just outside of Lubbock. Always joked I'd move there and run for mayor one day since my last name is Slaton, haha.
  3. Miami Vice episode from Season 1 "Milk Run". Ends with Eddie taking a shotgun blast to the chest and being blown into a display case filled with Yar's Revenge and Super Breakout
  4. That would be a fun thread to start. Might have to do that. And I will say, if anybody out there is dead set on having the full US set, i'm open to overly generous offers, haha.
  5. Do you (or anybody) know of a list of actually obtainable games for US releases? Wide release, complete with boxes and manuals. It would be cool to have the definitive "full" collection and have games like this be extras, since it's impossible for there to be a "complete" collection when there are so many titles with only 1-2-3 known copies.
  6. That's a fun age to be getting to, isn't it? Haha. The people who collect what you like to collect are getting old enough to die off, so their stuff will be in the marketplace again...is it too early for a drink?
  7. I know right? It's been nearly 10 years since I found anything, and 20 since I found a Demon Attack proto. Thought those days were long gone.
  8. Given the price they had on it I would guess it came in as part of a collection and tossed out on the shelf
  9. It's highly unlikely because the cart and label are definitely from the era (right look and feel along with wear), and from what I understand a prototype wasn't even found of this until the early 2000s
  10. Thank you, it still hasn't exactly sunk in yet what I've found. And yes, I am coordinating with someone locally to meet up at one of the monthly video game collector shows here to have it dumped. might be a little bit because I'm about to go back out on the road for the day job. Unless someone can point me to a way to do it myself.
  11. Here are a couple of different options for you. Sorry for the delay, been a crazy morning. Let me know if you need anything else!
  12. I'm trying to coordinate with someone in my town to get it dumped. probably going to be several weeks because I'm about to go on another road trip for my day job (which is how I found this one)
  13. Trust me, you're not the only one that's speechless and needs time to process, haha. Still just doesn't seem real. I bought it and went to my car to look it up on AtariMania and saw the little Holy Grail icon in rarity and wasn't sure what that meant. Then I clicked it and saw what all was listed there. Mother of god, haha. Don't have the exact weight, but it feels like a standard cart, not overly heavy or light. And yes, I will be doing one of the end label photos this morning and will post it.
  14. Here are a couple for you, one zoomed out and one tight on the label. let me know if you'd like any others and I'll be happy to do it!
  15. Thank you! Yeah I will take one and upload it to this thread this evening once I get home. And yeah I'm still in a bit of disbelief that I now own a grail. It's just, wild.
  16. I think I'm OK with having a 1 of 1, haha. I'm still just in shock I found that. I haven't found anything remotely rare in probably 15+ years (at least not outrageously priced)
  17. Oh and I will take a better photo of it once I'm back home. I'm on the road and don't have my studio setup.
  18. Thanks for posting this, I'm the one who found it. I made another thread on here before seeing this. After reading through this thread, what do you make of the different label (with the additional lines about the Coleco Gemini and the 2600 Adapter Module)? Another commercial sample? The release version? A mystery lost to time, haha?
  19. I have zero idea. It's still listed as a Prototype on the rarity charts here. And on another thread it says there are only 2 confirmed carts out there, but they may be preproduction samples. And the pics from those are slightly different than this one (mine has the extra lines about the Coleco 2600 expansion)
  20. A game store down in Charleston, SC. Just sitting on a pile of other games. Funny thing is, if I hadn't owned the Arcadia version it wouldn't have jumped out at me.
  21. It's tested and confirmed NTSC. Doesn't appear to be a prototype. The only other picture I found of it was on AtariMania and it looks legit. The only difference between that picture and mine is the additional 3rd line at the top and bottom talking about the Coleco Gemini and the Atari Expansion Module.
  22. Even if it is 20k, that's still 1/3 the number of consoles that Ouya had at launch after Kickstarter, and 1/10 the estimated number of Ouya consoles that were sold total. With those numbers, the Ouya couldn't sustain a viable marketplace for games, which is what ultimately killed the system since nobody wanted to develop for it since their sales numbers would essentially be capped. And with no first party titles driving console sales, it doesn't exactly bode well for future success.
  23. Some constructive criticism. You might want to turn down the game volume a bit because it is very difficult to understand what you are saying because it is getting drowned out by the gameplay sounds.
