Nice port, Now we need Glenn the 5200 man to do a conversion for the 800!

If you got one of those VGA adapter boards you could do just this and turn off the LCD. You would need a screen than can do 15HKz though like the NEC 1970vx.

I never saw XEX before emulators. It was just a way to differentiate the Atari EXE from the PC’s.

Where can I buy one?

Thanks, will have to check it out on my Mega STE.

Might have to mount a new MSA or ST file, format in STEEM and lablel it, then copy the files from the original MSA to it.

Prices are up on all retro hobbies lately and prices will keep going up. Nothing new here.

Yeah I merely just put back the original texts and any picture files that were edited with NEOChrome or Degas, etc on these. Just a simple fix. Like for Bloodwych all I had to do was fix the crack text and replace the PI1 title pic with an original...

I have put together a collection of cracktro and crack text free disk images for the Atari ST. With a lot of work to put back the original text, etc with Hex Editors, pictures, etc.

A few years ago I was able to find an ATR and a XEX as seen in post 3.

Seems Homesoft has uploaded a version that runs on 130XE that seems to run with no glitches on NTSC, but does have some lag. But atleast it runs, played up to level 6 with no corrupt graphics!

Can't wait for the update!

How can reseating chips make the power LED come on? Sounds like a bad trace on the board and not a bad chip seating issue.

I am new to the forum, when I was a kid I had an Atari 130st and I remember that I could use the Atari 2600 cartridges on it to play those games.
is it the same with the Atari 520st? Or those aren’t compatible?
That is impossible. Even the 130XE couldn't play Atari 2600 cartridges. yes the 520ST is a 512k version of the prototype 130ST. The 130XE series was a 128k version of the old 8-Bit Atari 800/XL series.-

I got a 520ST in the wild years ago that had 512k and the TOS boot ROMS! Machine was pretty much unusable. I left it that way for collection purposes as I have other 520STs!

Can we write these 180k EF's Cheat Arcade disks to a real atari disk?
