  1. No, TOS 2.06 is only for STE computers. There are hardware hacks that can let you use it though.
  2. If you want to blow some of our Atari heads you guys need to do frostbite too! https://images.app.goo.gl/wix5g3xs7BPDaxRB7
  3. Sorry, can't undo history the way you want it. This game is Popeye, and he smoked a pipe.
  4. No the ST was limited to 16 colors and that’s one reason why the Amiga was better as it could do 32 from a palette of 4,096.
  5. Very very nicely done! I wish the punch was not mono but I know that’s not your fault.
  6. I put in a PAL ANTIC in my NTSC 800XL and I could not get a display on my NTSC TV (Which I assumed would happen). I tried a Commodore 1084S-P1 monitor and it worked perfectly. Showed a PAL color screen that was smaller on the screen with large bars at the top and bottom. I was able to adjust the screen side and it looks good now.
  7. Honestly I wonder how common it is for the Ingot PS to fail? Or is it just a rampant 3 decade rumor?
  8. Issue resolved!!!!!! It was due to using the B variety chip! Got some AMD 29F040 non B’s to test and they work perfectly.
  9. Is there a trained version of this out?
  10. Remove C56 to improve the video! Works amazing!
  11. Yeah here it is. I found two non B variants on eBay and ordered them! I'll let you know if I have any luck with them.
  12. I visited him in person to buy some Atari stuff around 15 years ago, and saw he had some issues with weight. hygiene and extreme hoarding so I can’t imagine what these last 15 years have been like for him! I really do hope he can get well. But that usually requires hitting rock-bottom and doing a 180° change in your lifestyle, health and habits.
  13. Thanks for your reply, I already started one. I think it may be the flash chips I’m using. 29F040B. Ordered some non B’s to test!
  14. What problems were you having with the bad ribbon cable? I am having some issues with my 1200XL and 32-in-1 OS. Can't determine if it's a bad flash chip, bad rom image, or bad connection. I get some corrupt graphics on some games on a cold boot. After a few resets, it goes away.
  15. I’ll burn that new patched XE OS onto a chip and test it. Might also burn one and put it into my 130XE. Does that also take a 27c128?
  16. Ok that’s good news as I can program a 27c128 or 256. And yes I also have the old 2 chip Rev 10 1200XL OS from upgrading my other 1200XL to rev 11.
  17. Ok some more troubleshooting to see if there is a pattern. There seems to be. On a cold boot I get really bad corrupt graphics on Temple of Apshai Trilogy. On a reboot, less corrupt graphics, then on the 3rd reboot it’s fine! Seems to do this every time. Weird. What I was doing before was changing Roms (in the 32-in-1 menu), or changing flash chips. And it would then work. So it seems the system needs to warm up to work correctly.
  18. Tried it this morning and corrupt graphics again. So frustrating. I’ll try to put in stock 1200XL ROMs and see if that persists
  19. On the 32-in-1. I don’t have the original ROM on this one, I can try to install the rev 10 from my other machine if it’ll fit without uninstalling the 32-in-1. Can I just remove this from the socket and put the old Ron’s in? Aren’t they 2 chips?
  20. I then changed the ROM to the stock rev C and it’s fine now... but it will return later or on a cold boot.
  21. Here’s what it can look like. When I change ROMs it can go away, but then returns later or the next day. Haven’t tried the power supply, I can try another one.
  22. Been having some issues lately with my set up. Tried creating a new ROM and burning to a new 29F040 B chip and I’m getting intermittent issues with corrupt graphics on games and crashing. At first I thought it was my new ROM and maybe the ROM code, but it’s happening with the original EEPROM too. Tried programming the new code to my old chip and it’s still doing the same thing now. Tried making sure that everything is sealed correctly and also replace the RAM chips which didn’t help. (has Rambo 256k upgrade). Anything else I can try?
