I have this one in my collection . I also think I might have the original game, will see if I can find it and image it for you.

Nice setups! Space Caverns or Space Mines? Can you share your ATR?

Do these new carts fit ok in an Atari 800?
-
Good for Side 2 and Ultimate Cart! I use those for instant loading.
-
Thanks, can you do one with no compression? Loads faster

Nice! Love NTSC fixes!!!! Strange on how the original PAL version had pink dirt!
-
Probably not since the Atari ST external drives work on this computer. SF314 is a 720k drive and works great.

Did you check for bad solder joints on the PCB?
-
-
Yes it should. Have you tried the cable on a VGA monitor yet?
-
No. It would be like asking if mid 1990's VGA software will run on a CGA system from the 1980's.

I wouldn't bother with 2.06. Also you don't have the RF mod so you are missing circuitry for composite video so you will be limited on displays. I would just put TOS 1.04 in it and leave it as is and get a newer ST like a 1040STE where you can easily upgrade the RAM to 4MB and TOS to 2.06.

Recapped mine, was very easy

Cool game! Will there be mouse support? These play so much better with the mouse.

I have a 1200XL and a pair of Happy 1050's that I intend to use as my "nostalgia driver". Will a Warp+ OS 32-in-1 largely resolve the quirks in the 1200 while also driving high-speed SIO?
Yes I have this in mine, and in my other one I have the latest Rev 11 1200XL
OS which fixes a lot of issues. -
Excellent!!!!

No it's the same, now there might be slight variations of the color due to different batches and 35 years passing, etc.

Yes keep the original c64 screen it’s very nice!

As it is now, it's more challenging than the C64 version.
We are tweaking it for a better balance.
We will probably need a few play testers in the future to get some feedback. Of course we'll keep everyone posted when we're near that stage.
Ok great, I would love to beta play test

I hooked up a PC Epson SMD-340 to my XF551 with HyperXF ROM and it works fine as 720k. If you want to use HD disks you should put some tape on the HD hole so you can ensure the drive sees it as a 720k disk.

A real 2600 port of this would be ultra cool!

Since you are new, please be aware of the plastic cling wrap method. It can cause "blooming" and discoloration if you are not careful or leave it out too long without manipulation and massaging in the hot sun. I just don't bother for this reason. Not worth the risks.

Not directed to this game here, but just a small rant. People who say the games are too easy should speak for themselves. Not everyone is an expert. Most of us are not, so making the game hard (FOR YOU) is not a good idea because a few of you are expert gamers and think the game is too easy. The C64 version is a good balance and I appreciated the extra retries as well. Nice idea.

Jupiter's Master Drive working crack for real disk
in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
Posted · Edited by tjlazer
Been trying to find a copy of Jupiter's master drive for the ST that I can copy to a real disk. Found a few but they are 440k ST images and I get errors when trying to copy to a real disk. Found HD versions but those don't seem to run on a standard 1040STf. Runs on a Mega STE. Anyone have a working crack that will copy to a regular ST disk?
