  2. When I try to goto atari8.info I get this message: Your IP is banned on www.atari8.info Anyone else have this problem? I didn't do anything!
  3. Here is a sorted excel list I updated to reflect all 325 disks, links do not work though. HomeSoft__s_Index.zip
  4. Yeah and the high bidder is also selling the same game!! WTF, clearly he wants to resell the game for a profit. LOL
  5. I would like one. So are games from europe compatible with NTSC systems?
  6. I wonder how this Jaguar version compares to the Amiga AGA version?
  7. Get the Synchro Express or Blitz cable as suggested, also you could use an Amiga with similar hardware copiers to copy ST disks!! (SuperCard AMI did it for me)
  8. Nope comes with the Composite, S-Video and Stereo RCAs all in one! Just ordered one.
  9. Does he have them in stock? I will order one asap too. 6' or 12' hmmm...
  10. Yeah a chip swap should fix the sound problem, the C300588, or use one from a 1040STE!

  14. No looking for the complete version that is named Burger Time
  15. I know there is a version of this before it was renamed to Beef Drop, can someone send it to me pretty please?
  16. You mean you power it up and you get a green screen with no icons? Or white screen? If black screen, computer is DEAD, white means semi functional (try 4" universal drop) and green with no icons means dead or no drive connected.
  17. To format a disk as 720k in Windows XP save this to a batch file and run it ! echo off echo **************************************** echo ** This will format a standard 3.5" ** echo ** 720k disk in drive A ** echo ** ** echo ** It is best to use proper 720k ** echo ** disks and not 1.44Mb disks, ** echo ** as they are often not as reliable. ** echo ** ** echo ** Please insert a disk in Drive A: ** echo ** ** echo ** WARNING ALL DATA WILL BE LOST!! ** echo ** ** echo ** ** echo **************************************** echo on format a: /n:9 /t:80 /u echo off echo All done!! echo See you back at http://4mbste.atari.org !! echo on
  18. Well it is fairly compatible but not that high, it's incompatibility is mostly due to the faster processor and OS. If you degrade the system it will run a lot of disk games. I have a 68030/50Mhz in it and AmigaOS 3.9. I mostly play HD patched games via WHDLoad, that way almost any old A500 game runs on any Amiga.
  19. Never mind I took a break and found this site... http://www.mathyvannisselroy.nl/mydos.htm lol
  20. OK I am going to pull out all my hair. I am trying to do simple dos actions like copy files to a folder and I cannot do it. I am getting error code 168. I have a MyIDE Flashcart and just learned I cannot have more than 64 files in each dir, so I am trying to create folders to copy binary files to. And I cannot do it for some reason. Is there a manual online for MyDOS 4.53? This is getting really frustrating!! I think I am going to play with my Amiga 1200 now before I break my Atari 130XE...........
  21. ok that it I have 64 files on there, so I have to use dirs, damn that is going to suck. How are you guys handling this with exe files? I want to copy all my ~1200 game exe files to my HD!
  22. Is there a MyDOS manual out there? I need to know the file limit per partition.
  23. OK I am playing with my new toys: MyIDE and SIO2PC. It seems I cannot see/copy/view a directory of more than 62 files on a partition! Be it the SIO2PC dir on my PC or a 16MB HD on my MyIDE w/Transcend 128MB Flash card. I am using a Atari 130XE with MyDOS 4.53/4. I tried it also on another machine, an Atari 1200XL, same issues. Is there a file limit on a single partition?
