What OS version are you using? How many partitions and how large are the partitions? MyDOS 4.53 and I have three 16MB partitions setup. D2, D3 and D4. This way my disk drive, D1 can boot DOS and I can access the HD! I thought of something that might be the problem and am testing now, do I need to set the HD types with O each time I start up for everything to work ok? thx

Do you guys get error 169 when copying files in MyDOS on a real atari? Been trying to do it old skool and copy exe files from disk to the HD and I sometimes get error 169. When I try to copy to anther drive it works, hmmm.

just format a 720k disk on the ST then insert it into the PC, copy the files to it and viola... (if you dont have a DSDD disk cover the HD detect hole on a HD disk) Not recommended tho.

The Amiga 1200 costs way more then a STE computer, you cannot compare the two price points. To the OP I would get a 520ST or 1040STf for the price that is the best entry level ST's to get into. That is what most of the software was made for.

Sure get a proper drive for it, all should be good. If you want you can get a PC drive and hack the case. Get a Chinon FZ 357 or Epson SMD 300/340.

You know a Falcon keyboard would look great with that black ST case!! Hate to mention it but those yellow keys are horid... I actually was able to swap out all my yellow keys on a few of my STs with nicer ones from a pile of parts I got free a few years ago.

I always wondered the same thing, if they ever venture online to read about the ST series. I know that one of the Amiga engineers Dave Haynie still does that, and that is refreshing!

Back in the day I remember when I got this game it was a flippy disk so I got to play it on my C64 and 130XE! Both versions are almost identicle.

You can also have the six chips burned to 27C256 chips if you have access to that, otherwise just buy the ROM kit.

I use simple green and warm water. The yellowing in the ST especially the keys will not come off. You can get Krylon plastic paint from K-Mart/Wal-Mart that works real good. But you will not be able to paint the keys.

I have a C64C with 1541C drive I was thinking of selling. Its the newer ones that are cream colored. I can also include games on disk. How much you willing to spend?
