I would just keep the 520ST with the boot roms, its kind of a collectors piece really! I have mine still and it's in mint shape. I have a few other 520STs to play with.

Blame Jack Tramiel!! lol Yeah I have one too. Its the 520ST non m version (no modulator) with TOS boot roms (kinda like the Amiga 1000) It is pretty neat to see, but unusable as there is only ~200k left after TOS loads!!! lol

Yes just get an Atari 800 emulator and download the game from the net to play it. You will need to have an understanding of the Atari 800 and Emulators to get it all going as we cannot just tell you how to get it running in one sentence!

Check it now, I fixed the link. I talked to the guy and he believes it is new old stock. Seems like a nice find though! I would rather have a mint looking ST than a yellowed worn down one any day!

There is a very nice and mint Mega2 on ebay tagged as BRAND NEW, but if you look at the pics of the underside, you can see dirt/smudge marks, so this is indeed a used item. I am interested but just thought I would point that out, but any collector with a keen eye would see that for themselves... Hi, I am trying to burn a TOS 2.06 image for my Mega STE. I have to split the file in two files to burn to ROMs. I used a PC program called WinHEX that can split every other word to make a new file, and I used it to make a Amiga 1200 kickstart ROMs successfully. The question I have is for the LOW and HIGH ROMs on the Atari. The low is the first set and high the second set? ROM 1 and ROM 2 is LOW/HIGH Correct?

The game was great on the 2600, it cannot be improved that much more! I think the 800 version is very nice!

Ok boys lets not start, it is a new year, lets all get along. And yes your feedback is now visible, but when he posted it, it was private! Right? Anyway lets all start the new year fresh shall we? I agree, ST stuff is not THAT expensive! Just because the OP bought the STs for pennies does not mean he should expect a Mouse to be for 1 cent! ST stuff is getting rare and will cost you some, but not that much. Expect to pay ~$20 for a mouse. Is that too much? If so sell your ST's and get a PC. LOL

I would get a hold of the latest Atari HDX utils and do a complete low level format of the HD, it should map out bad sectors and should do the trick! I had the same problem with my Megafile20 and after the format it works fine.

I have seen both dealers bid on Atari stuff like Falcons and Mega STs! They turn around and sell them for those prices!!!

Are you burning a raw cartridge dump binary, or a binary load file (like you would load from DOS) ? Only a cartridge dump will work, and those are usually very standard sizes (8k, 16k, 128k, etc..) 984632[/snapback] Well a DOS binary! Well I have no idea where to find cart dumps! Do you?
