  1. I call shenanigans on this version of Ghostbusters! It doesn't even have the original gorilla in it!
  2. Sell the one of the kids. You can make more.
  3. This year's VRGE (Vancouver Retro Gaming Expo) is being held on Sat on June 22nd I am going. Anyone else? Main site and tickets available at: http://www.vancouvergamingexpo.com/
  4. There is a command-line option to set the pallete for jzintv. However, I don't know the details of how to do it. This pallette change only applies to your own machine when you include the extra command-line option.
  5. There is a serial number, but it's not my place to spoil his well earned place in the sun. 🙂
  6. Wow, there is some great history in that blog post. If I had grown up as a child in Japan, I'd have grown up with nice nostalgia for those cards.
  7. 401035. There is a scratch across the sticker such that there is a slim possibility the 2nd 0 is an 8, but that seems very unlikely.
  8. They were purchased already graded. However, they weren't graded by the WATA-ripoff company. The prices seemed reasonable (at least to me) so I bought them.
  9. When I got them off of eBay, that was the first I heard of them. Other than being labeled as coming out in 1983 and being called "LSI Mini Game Cards" and "Amada" on their plastic protectors, everything else I know is in this thread. Perhaps someone else knows more?
  10. I would love to see other folks' photos of their Bandai cards!
  11. Here is what Google Translate says they say in English.
  12. I just picked up some Japanese Intellivision cards from Bandai made back in 1983. Prior to getting these, I never knew these existed!
  13. Rev has a mellow easy-going humorous personality. Just be aware that any jokes you dish out to him become fair game to be dished back (in good humor) at some opportune time in the future (as things should be).
  14. With the overlaid image of the Intellivision, I lean towards 'no' more now. The bottom edge of the console and the controller disc line up, but the top edge of the console does not (it does line up with one of the horizontal measurement lines that extend past the console).
  15. Interesting. However, I didn't notice any UK spellings but did see US spellings instead (did I miss any). For example, 2nd page lower right says "For color T.V. viewing only" when it would be more appropriate to have "colour" for the UK market. This isn't definitive, though.
  16. cardboard? That's a bit disappointing. Agreed! That is disappointing.
  17. Interesting. I should point out that the copyright on the 2nd page is 1979. Not sure it that changes anything, though.
  18. Second to last page, left of the demo display unit's bottom but below the TV, there is an advertisement near the magazines. Anyone recognize this blurry ad? Anyone recognize the KC program being shown? The green background makes me think Stock Analysis or Weight Loss. The three columns of text would fit both of these.
  19. Last page, bottom left photo, anyone else notice the Master Component box design on the wall? Any eagle-eyed person want to check against early actual boxes and see if there are differences? I don't have such a box.
  20. Hard to make out and had to darken the image... but what device are those mechanical drawings of? At first I thought it was the Intellivision itself but now I lean 'no'. It's very hard to make out.
