PS Vita hacking is still pretty difficult and unsafe afaik. Still a long way to get to the state the PSP hacking has, I would recommend sticking with the Vita unhacked for now.

All you got to do is download a certain game from the PSN and it will allow you to hack the Vita just like the PSP

Sony is fixing the exploits all the time, you need old firmware. Also, it only works for the PSP mode. Basically a hacked PSP in Vita case, not utilizing the added power.
