  1. I wonder what the Wii's legacy will be. I've certainly loved mine and continue to cherish its many games, but I'm curious how gamers will view it 10-15 years from now.

      My guess is that it will be a very popular console to collect for in a decade or so, due to it's excellent software library and unique control options that set it apart from other consoles of the period.

      The Wii was popular enough that, when the kids who grew up on one have their own kids, they'll want to share. It'll spike eventually.

      The Wii U will be much more collectable and alot sooner than the Wii. Like it or not, the Wii is a doorstop or paperweight in most homes, and there are what, 70 million of them? Yeah, it might spike, but not for 20 years.
