@Nubian You need to softload TOS 1.0, try it, thats the only way I can get Gauntlet to load on my STE.

A2600 You also have the Samsung SC1224 monitor? It sure is nice but it seems ALL suffer from this knob seizing problem! I have a nice SC1435 hooked up to my Mega STE. Look at the thread of the posted setups to see a pic of it. Where did you get your Mega STE from? I got mine just a few weeks ago NEW from some music store. Nice machine!

On my Mega STE (without a HD), if I turn on without a disk in drive, it stays white for like 30 secs or so then I get a error requestor saying disk or drive is unreadable or such, no green screen! Weird. Is this normal?? But if I put a disk in drive it goes to desktop no prob. And with a HD attached (ASCI port) it works fine too. I have to hit space to cancel 30 sec wait to boot from floppy too.

After looking over the disks its apparent I will need a manual to figure out how to use these? Anyone have a online guide or something???

I heard that STOS, the ST game creator suite was released as freeware. Anyone have the complete set I can download? I am eager to check it out and maybe create some games!

I wish there was a port for the 800/XE. The Amiga also had versions and the first one is the best port, Ghouls 'N Ghosts was a ST port for the Amiga too so it was a major dissapointment!

I had to boot to TOS 1.0 on my Mega STE to get the game to work. I also think that trick worked on the TT030 as well, maybe try it on yours? Don't you have a 030 fallback mode you can use? You are not going to have any luck getting old ST games running on a MC68060!

YES I just got one more!, a NEW Mega ST/E 1 in the box! I upgraded ram to 4MB, but now all I need to get is the HD kit, as this came with no HD.

Zip them all up and post em! I would love to have them, they are HD installable so that is a plus!
