Yeah I saw that artice on the 800XL, but the question is about the 1200XL. Can I do this 800XL fix to the 1200XL too? I know the 600XL and 800XL are pretty much the same, but the 1200XL is different. Or should I do the Super Video 2.1? Thanks

Anyone know how to get the brightness and contrast knobs to loosed up? I got this monitor new in the box and it works great, but the 2 knobs are all seized up! Volume works fine. Well at least it is usuable, as the screen looks fine and really doesn't need adjusting. But it would be nice to get it fixed. Not a bad monitor really, it has that new ST smell too! Ahhh those were the dayz...

Hey on a side note, I have a new Samsung SC1224 that works great but the Contrast and Brightness knobs are all seized up and will not turn! Any idea on how to loosen them up?

Yeah in the rest of the world the game was called International Karate, and in the US its called World Karate Champinship. AFAIK the graphics are the same? On the ST the graphics are different? I have the WKC for ST, do you have International Karate on ST? I would like to see the difference if there is one.

It is not that rare, I have a copy of it too. I also have the C64 and Atari ST version. Sadly there was no Amiga version. On the Amiga version I think what you are talking about is IK+ which is a different game and it really sucks compared to the original!

Are you using a XE computer? Some do not work with the Flashcarts. I have one here that does the same thing. My other XE's and XL's work fine. Try a different computer!

Why do you need 1.2? You can always get an upgrade from dealers like Best or B&C in the US or others in EU. Your best bet is a small external SCSI HD enclosure and a Link 2 adaptor. I got mine from B&C.

Just grab a nice 520ST setup. Just make sure the external drive you do get is Double Sided and not Single Sided. SF314 is the model to look for. You will be able to play most games on it as most required 512k to run. Oh make sure it has TOS in ROM. As far as the monitor any RGB will suffice. If you need a cable made contact Redmond Cable.

Yes I took a Gray Joust case and made my own label. See below. The square cased one was another Joust I converted from a brown regular Joust game. I used a Bug Hunt case for it!

Ok here is my Falcon030 with SC1435 monitor and Zip-100 drive.

I have the original game. I am worried that my disks are going bad because when I copy it to my HD I get repeated errors, but I have managed to copy it to HD. It needs disk 1 to run though, so is there a cracked exe I have use so I don't have to rely on my disks to play it?

Will this work for TOS?
