Find Proterm 1.9 it is one disk and it will run from disk.

find proterm for the apple 2 you can dial into a bbs with that with ibm emulation in the terminal setup. i use proterm with applewin emulater and my lantronix device works fine.

hi i was talking about the zx spectrum computers you never see them bbsing with the lantronix modem. i dial into bbses everyday with my old computers and lantronix device good fun.

i wood like to see a zx spectrum log into a bbs how we do it with our lantronix modems. i have only seen youtube videos from bbc tv computer programes in the 80s but never
any one logging into a bbs any more these days.

maybe its a old boot virus joke look for something that might say cockroach in startup or something.

i am on the page using netpositve from beos 5.3 pentium 100 computer i allso have a web server in beos its poorman yep thats the name.
and i am there with procomm plus 3.0 web browser for windows 95 looks good with vintage browsers.

Hi will this work.. I have Appletalk in my BeOS Network services and tick for on, and will it be able to Network
with my Mactintosh Plus system 7.1. AppleTalk by nullmodem cable and serial cable on the mac plus will
the macintosh see the home folder on my beos computer or just fail. In beos network services
it has ftp server works great with windows 95 it has telnet server its great to telnet in by lantronix device
and appletalk and ip forwarding.

You can run Damn Small linux on that PC I run it on a Pentium 166 mmx with 128 mb of ram and a 4 mb video card all run from live CD.

The Mac plus is put away again ill get it out when i get a copy of Zterm for it.

I had no tubble on the BBS it was smooth looking around and login at 9600 bps.

It cost me $80.00 with a bad PSU i had it fixed and the mouse plug was faulty i had to pull the keybourd apart and resolder the plugs
now it goes like a rocket. Yes i think the PSU packet up in its realy days and mouse port it was putaway for years never to see the light again.

is there anything to setup up in the systems in system 7.1 for the modem port to work or shell i just put the mac away again
put a 486 in its place

i have a serial port cable for the mac plus mini dim 8 to 25 pin i do have a null modem cable to shell i put that between the lantronix modem
and serial cable to the mac.

Zterm is the one to use yes.

Yes it has 4 MB of ram in it. I did try it with my Lantronix the comms program in old ms works did not work it faild to open.
Im looking out for more Comms programs for the Plus to use.

Hi I have a Macintosh Plus with System 7.1 installed and Microsoft Soft Works 3. Can I use my Lantronix Modem
with MS works comms program I brought a serial cable to use with the mac plus. The comms icon is unable to open
at the moment will the comms program work with the Lantronix Device, has anyone got it to work.

it wood be cool if you can login to the internet with a real vintage modem with that, you run old aol for ms dos and on your xp computer
you connect to it at 2400 into xp that will let you in to tcp/ip or linux pc mmm maybe better than rs232 cable and more fun.
