  1. I have about three good ideas but, and I do this for a living. Not to sound greedy, but I'd like to get paid or something in exchange. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  2. The cover needs to have an emotional connection with all of us, what I mean by that is how did we all feel when they went under. Disappointed, angry, relieved, surprised, etc... whatever the case was. the cover should reflex that. With the comments above, I agree that it was more or less about the various toys they produced, not really the leather. I'd focus the art direction on the toys, electronics. Make it playful, colorful but yet show the demise in some form or another. My 2 cents.
  3. Being a graphic designer for over 20 years. The book cover is what's going to sell the book. I think more thought should be put in the overall design. Keep it simple, yet attractive. Don't try to say too many things. I find the above covers to be too busy. Also, I'd stay away from using the Coleco logo, you might get into legal trouble with the current owner to the trademark. Good Luck, with the book!
  4. Is there a thread ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Someone should totally make an Intellivision expansion! I'd be all over that!
  6. The reality is that Retro VGS info (if it's real) should be everywhere, and not buried an AtariAge forum. LOL
  7. I'm still on the fence about the whole thing. Why? 1. The available information out there is not very clear. For example the cart adapters news is not confirmed anywhere in their site. So, it's a rumor for me at this stage. 2. Marketing. It's mostly done via facebook, and other social media outlets. 3. Is there a community rep here on Atari Age? Don't get me wrong here, I'm very excited for this console/project. Great idea! But, being very excited and forking out $299 at this stage is a gamble for me personally. I'm might just be a late adopter. Lastly, there should be a forum here just for that machine. Would help to put it all in one place.
  8. It's been out of stock for a while now. Hopefully, he'll get more in.
  9. These links might be of some help. http://cvaddict.com/list.php?filter=3 http://cvaddict.com/list.php?filter=4 And the complete list... http://cvaddict.com/article.php?articleid=4
  10. Very cool! I'll post it on CVaddict.com and the facebook page.
  11. I really hope they can fix it. Man I miss it.
  12. Ok, I figured I'd post photos. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words!
  13. It's looking good so far!
  14. My guess is that they are bootlegs. Very cool ones. I'm not sure if the copyright laws were enforced in the 80's in Brazil. My guess would be a big fat no. LOL
  15. This guy? https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=13881594
  16. Out of respect for what Phil Boland is doing, I've decided to check if there's any anyone wanted reproductions of CBS labels. These would be redone - 100% vectorized.
  17. I've added some Collectorvision manuals, and added the AtariMAX archive. http://cvaddict.com/article.php?articleid=4 Plus, added the Super Game Module logo to their respective games. Also, I'd like some help sorting out the homebrew, that would be great. Thanks!
