Things that need to be stickied: use images from Trebor's 7800 ROM PROPack before reporting issues.  If you're still having problems after doing so, let us know.  Thanks.

Yeah thanks for that, but i've been using the files from this very same pack, just like with the Commando mentioned earlier in this thread. COmmando launches with white screen, Bentley launches with graphical errors. This is all new since i sent the cart to Batari to get updated. I'm a longtime user of the cart. I'll reach out to him.

Yes, and it's more of a voluntary recall. Existing Concerto owners can ship them back to me, and I will replace a resistor and upgrade the programmable logic to the current version that supports POKEY @0450, and ship it back. It will be essentially free for you. To keep the financial impact minimal, I will provide a first-class return shipping label for you. So print it out, package and ship to me. The cart itself weighs around 3 oz, but I would pay for 8 oz total for the cart+packaging both ways.

That's fantastic news and service. I live in the PDX area and would be happy to drop off / pick up to keep it cheaper if you'd prefer that

    Hello funknflow5200,

Did you ever find the time to have a look at this? I've got my eproms, and my cartridge pcb's now. Just waiting for the burner and going to have a go at printing a cartridge and making a box for a one-off full build of the Trapped game.

This is all test work for my bigger game. It would be nice to have an overlay as well, not sure I can pull this off on my own!

i have not had time to yet but still plan on it at some point- do you have any artwork in mind yet?

My order has grown from six game-specific overlays to 10 plus Psych C. God help me 🤑

Before I order, @funknflow5200, do you make an overlay for the homebrew game Vec-Man? The creator has mock-ups of three suggested overlay designs on his website. I'm not sure how I feel about the brown background but I suppose there's some reason for it...

at this time- no- but use psych c for that game, it works great!

These are amazing and I fully anticipate making a purchase for some overlays in the near future. Just to confirm, the ordering method of PayPal to [email protected] (good and services) with a note stating which overlays (and which specific version, if applicable) and pricing of $13 per and $7 flat rate shipping in the US are still current practice?

that is correct! still making and shipping these out every darn day.

Oooh, what does that look like?  I just bought that and SpideX, do you have an overlay design for that, too?

I do not have spidex overlay, but i'd suggest using my psych B or solar quest gradient overlays for that one. KnightEX overlay will be done this weekend, I'll be sure to post it here.

But since Rikki & Vikki performed poorly

man, this pains me greatly to read! This game is TOP NOTCH and a must have across all platforms. I still hope you are looking at a Switch release. I think (besides the 7800) it is the perfect platform for this platformer.

  9. Absolutely am in love with how this port is shaping up- I came across it through Albert’s post on facebook today- I cant believe I somehow missed this! We 7800 fans have been rewarded for our patience in life, the past few years have been an embarrassment of riches for homebrew. The attention to detail here is stunning.

I tested on real hardware tonight through my my concerto cart and could feel the polish on this title already.

I couldn’t hear pokey music as I believe on the concerto is gets addressed at $4000. Is it possible to make a version that addresses as that?

thank you so much for an unbelievable effort here- please keep up the good work and i’m down for at minimum two cartridges of this final product.

  10. I'm just checking in once again with another message of gratitude and amazement for this game. Over at my house this past month we've hosted 2 large birthday parties for my 5 & 7 year old girls. In my basement I have 4 pinball machines, a NES hooked up to a CRT, another gaming station set up with 6 retro systems on an RGB switcher and in the corner- a PVM with an Atari 600XL and 7800 hooked up to it- which is to say, there's no shortage of gaming options. EACH AND EVERY TIME we have people over, the 7800 is switched on and kids gather round en masse to watch a 2 Player Rikki & Vikki game. Nothing short of amazing. Sonic, Contra and Super Mario 3 abandoned, all eyes on the 7800 with maniacal laughter abound. My 2 girls, Junie & Dottie (for real) are like the de-facto ambassadors for this game. A Lineman for the Minnesota Vikings came to Junie's school to give a motivational speech and during question time she got up to the mic to exclusively ask him if he'd ever played Rikki & Vikki. (He said he hadn't but he was pretty sure his friend had it... really wanted to follow up on that one). So TailChao- once again, here's to you; and Junie & Dottie would love to be characters in your next game lol!

  11. My entire family is absolutely loving this game. TailChao , i sent you that video of my kids playing and loving the game on twitter the other day, and now my wife is ALL IN on the game. This hasn't happened in my home since the release of Mario Kart 8. No small feat. That being said, aside from the 7800, THIS GAME BELONGS ON SWITCH and I honestly believe it would do so well on the eShop.
