BLASTER!! Just absolutely amazing. Centipede- perfect sounds, close conversion. Untouchable with the trak-ball Defender- plays great with the stock stick and holds up well today Missle Command - again, perfection with the trak-ball Space Invaders / Galaxian (tie) - more trak-ball insanity!! The 5200 is my favorite atari system by a mile, warts and all.

It is- I just thought it had native trak ball support-- I guess not!

I have looked all over, and while sites do say KABOOM is compatible with the trak-ball, it doesn't seem to work right for me at all - is there some trick I'm missing?

1) Is anyone aware of a version of Castle Crisis that is compatible with the trak-ball? I mistakenly assumed it would be compatible since it seems perfect for it. 2) Since Tempest is no longer for sale in the AA store, is there a way to purchase the .bin? 3) My final dream - Crystal castles with trak-ball support? the A8 conversion is fun but desperately needs this support added!

Sitting around this weekend bored with a spare CX52, I decided to remove the joystick end and create a thumbstick using the back of cheap bic pen. Happy to say it worked nicely!

Plainly stated: I cannot find it anywhere if it does indeed exist. Can anyone confirm / deny?

I have a nice condition, s-video & composite modded Atari 5200, 1 working CX52 joystick, 1 CX52 that needs cleaning, an atarimax sd cartridge & a pc joystick to 5200 adapter that I purchased through a member here complete with a perfect Makopad that provides analog and digital control for the games. I am looking to sell as a lot (unfortunately!! baby on the way!!). Is there any interest for this on here?

It's super sensitive too. Best to adjust using a diagnostic cart- what looks good for one game may not be accurate for another

I personally prefer a pad to a joystick (ducks) so that's why I never went the wico route! You should be able to get good money for them!
