  1. This. Read up on Brad's policies/tantrums here- http://atariage.com/forums/topic/213582-best-electronics-problem-with-ordering/ And make sure you do not make a mistake the first time, especially since you aren't a United States resident. Otherwise you'd have to wait a year in order to place your order again. Hopefully you can learn from everyone else's mistakes. I made the mistake of being repetitive with few changes to the order I inquired about each time. And this was some time after a successful order I had already placed with him. Oh, and expect the shipping price to be through the roof.
  2. Telegames and Songbird Productions are seemingly the only companies that either reprint-on-demand old official Atari Jaguar releases that they own the rights to or continue to make games in series that are owned by official companies (like Protector: RESURGENCE which is owned by Bethesda Softworks). The devs behind the Atari Jaguar port of Another World is one exception I can think of. Can't wait for a reprint of that. The rest of the Jaguar devs out there just do homebrew, not that there is anything wrong with that. It's just that I'd like to see the Reboot team or Orion delve into getting the rights to some official games that were planned and didn't get released due to whatever reason.
  3. So... does that mean the waiting lists that everyone joined are no longer valid?
  4. Start a Kickstarter/Indiegogo campaign. I'll back it. Also, post on NeoGAF, GameFAQs, and European retro game sites to gather exposure. NeoGAF is the best place to post this kind of stuff.
  5. Since WBIE is the current license owner to the franchise, isn't it possible to go through them? Show WB how much it goes for on eBay. Surely that would convince them! Contact Ed Boon, stat!
  6. To help out our European brethren regarding the "outrageous" shipping charges, wouldn't it make sense to use Telegames.co.uk as your European distributor? You guys are still on good terms with them, right?
  7. Yeah, they only bring you to a certain point in the game. A few of them seem like doubles, but might have some differences. Not sure what changes are made between them. I'll have to give them a shot again and see. I'll give you guys an update when I can.
  8. Your game looks a hell of a lot better than Myst.
  9. I'd prefer the socketed ones. That's proof they cheapened out on later models.
  10. Dab this shit on it- It might help, but it depends on what else may be wrong in there.

This has kind of been a "THING" with you huh?

You are a pretty obsessive fellow...

  11. I've seen one of his videos before, but I do not remember which one.
  12. So... has anyone gotten in touch with Jay Smith yet?
  13. I feel that the Jaguar is more alive than the SNES or even Genesis. I appreciate the homebrew games people produce for it. And of course, you can't forget about the officially-licensed after-market stuff. It was a good thing that I found one at a local retro game store.
  14. Doesn't explain why he has stopped selling Star Strike, The Exterminators, and the budget release of The Exterminators. From what I recall, the budget release of The Exterminators would always be available (with a $19.75 price tag) but now it has mysteriously changed to "SOLD OUT".
  15. Ah yes, so I guess Sony owning the rights to them is false- http://assignments.uspto.gov/assignments/q?db=tm&qt=sno&reel=&frame=&sno=74576253 http://assignments.uspto.gov/assignments/q?db=tm&qt=sno&reel=&frame=&sno=74579863
  16. Is that the guy who sounds like Sean Connery?
  17. The problem with the games that I brought up in those threads is that they are not actually homebrew, but rather just burned CD-Rs of games owned by the likes of Square Enix, Sony Computer Entertainment, Sega, Hasbro, and Warner Brothers; none of which he got the rights from. Released or not; it's blatant copyright infringement and needs to be taken care of.
  18. I'm given flak on other sites for pointing out that GoodDealGames is just a counterfeit distributor and how they label their counterfeits as 'homebrew'. A few users got all offended by me pointing this out. One of them even said he reviewed 'their' games and that they are good people. Well no shit you're going to defend them; you have a hand in their shady scheme. I wouldn't be shocked if the douche selling these so-called Jaguar demos is in cahoots with GoodDealGames, too.
  19. Congratulations! You paid some schmuck for a CD-R!
  20. With those graphics, he should port it to the Jaguar then I'll bite.
  21. Here is the ebay listing that Paul is talking about- http://www.ebay.com/itm/310935003742 I say we report it as copyright infringement. However, since ebay gets a cut of the sale, I highly doubt it will be taken down. The only way it will get taken down is if Jeff Minter himself has it taken down.
  22. Instead of talking about how much of a douche he is, how about reporting the listing? Clearly it is violating other people's work(s).
  23. Does anyone know why The GOAT Store is down? I've been looking at their Atari Jaguar stuff and contemplating on buying something.
