  1. Well said. This was a no reserve auction. I alone was willing to pay up to $120.00 for the Scatbox, but hadn't bidded yet (I don't make the eBay rules I just try and make good use of them). Edge
  2. D*head. Pulling an auction minutes before it is suppose to end is behavior truly worthy of negative feedback. Unfortunately, eBay does not allow for such. Edge
  3. What a sad set of developments. I guess a nice place to talk about Atari and the Jag were too much to ask for. Thanks for nothing Albert. Edge aka David Ferrell http://forums.taldren.com
  4. To paraphrase Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons: "Most uninformed seller Ever!" Brings to mind the Urban Legend of the little old lady that sells her dead sons classic Corvette for pennies on the dollar as a used Chevy. Edge

    Lynx on eBay

Two reasons GoAtari's stuff goes for a higher price is it is all factory fresh and they don't overcharge for shipping. That's worth a lot to me. Edge
  6. LOL! He's tired of working on fringe systems so he decides to do a Game Cube title! Earth to Jeff: Hello! BTW I love T2K and have followed Jeff's stuff as possible for a while now, this is not a flame of him or his abilities. Edge
  7. Atari should have had this guy for the Jag's mascot: http://www.avia-art.com/godzillawebsite/gn...nco/jetjag.html Edge
  8. Bump. Just received my pro-controller today. I still need to try it out on a game besides T2K. Edge
  9. Klax or Joust would be my picks. I currently code games in C/C++ but would love to get a Jag dev system some day and try Assembler. Edge
  10. Totally understandable. Hey, the system worked! you wanted the game the most and you got it. I wonder if there is a 12 step program from eBay yet? I could use it myself. Later, Edge
  11. I'm sorry to hear about your fathers passing. Of course I was just kidding. Sincerely, Dave aka Edge
  12. on Worms, they would have a sale, and both of us would own worms now : http://cgi6.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?...item=3042334983 Edge
  13. As long as they last. I just bought two for $11.00 + shipping: http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?View...owpics=1&stab=2 No offense to anyone else selling them! Just a real good deal. Edge
  14. I wasn't exactly "sunshine and lollipops" either. I was confused by this from the Scatologic order page: I concentrated on the "complete hardware and software package" insted of the "server utility built into BattleSphere™!", which as I said, I did not know was built into Battlesphere Classic. Thanks, Edge
  15. That's probably because it's not a valid question. Stone Btw: Who died and left you arbiter of valid questions? It was a valid question because I did not know the answer and asked it honestly having no hidden objective. Edge
  16. Sorry, you've got me confused with somebody else. Thanks for the reply. I thought your location made it doubtful, but the question wouldn't leave my mind. Edge
  17. That's probably because it's not a valid question. JUGS is a software/hardware package to allow people that already have a BS or BSG cart to put homebrew programs into RAM and run them. Battlesphere doesn't have a bypass program in the cart, but Battlesphere Gold does. The three are completely different products which is probably why this (rather esoteric) question isn't answered. Confusion could arise because JUGS is provided as part of the package when you buy BSG. But JUGS has nothing to do with the bypass. Bypass carts: buy one of * Battlesphere Gold * Protector SE * B&C Bypass cart and put it in the cart slot of your CD drive. Put your homebrew/unreleased CD in the drive. Turn the Jag on. The game plays. That's it. No extra magic, no nothing. At the present time all of these carts are functionally identical in this regard. Stone A clear concise answer. Thank you. Since it was included with Battlesphere Gold (and I didn't know it worked with Battlesphere (original), I thought just maybe they made a stand-alone cart for J.U.G.S.™, why else would you bother selling it? Thanks, Edge
  18. And you didn't get any kind of response at all until you started making a stink about it. Don't let this ride, take action now. Edge
  19. No, there was just two days ago an agreement settled that a sticky "Jaguar CD-Bypass" thread will be set up. I am wondering why it was necessary just hours after this was discussed to raise up the "JUGS question for TBird"-thread and to keep it alive and why later this "ProtectorSE question"-thread was initiated. The moderator asked for getting the necessary CD-Bypass-informations in private mails to avoid things like they just happened in these two mentioned new threads. A conspiracy? Of the moderators? Of company A, followed by a counter-conspiracy of company B? Or is it just that AtariAge is too chaotic organized too see the latest informations (or those required)? Best regards Matthias It's called a (set of) technical question(s) that anyone in the know could have answered any blooming time they wished to. I could give a Rat's A$$ who developed what and when, I just wanted to know if Juggs contained a bypass cart (which the Scatologic site left unanswered). So if you want to get your panties in a wad about things, just put up the basic facts about what carts/products do what in a timely manner, and jerks like me won't have to ask obvious but interesting questions. Edge
  20. Very cool, thanks Fredifredo and Carl! Carl, do you know a John Getchel, or am I getting your name confused with someone else? Thanks, Edge
  21. This is sort of a follow up of sorts to my Juggs question: For Protector SE with JagFree CD, is JagFree CD a seperate cart or does Protector SE have some sort of switch to select CD vs. Protector SE mode? Or does Protector SE actually come on CD (just thought of that possibility)? Thanks, Edge
  22. What all is included with J.U.G.S.™ available on your site? With this will I have everything I need to play games like Painter on my Jag with Jag CD system (except for the Painter game itself, of course (duh!))? Thanks, Edge
  23. Very nice stuff. Thanks for sharing. Edge
  24. I can't remember exactly when I purchased my 1st Jag, but I do vaguely recall picking up T2K when it 1st came out. Man it's been awhile. Edge
