i own the MVS/ Neo-geo CD versions of DD. the PS isnt what i'd call a "2-D Friendly" system.Animation cuts tend to throw off the flow of the gameplay.i'd rather sit down with my NG-CD version, than the PS one.since it's an older title, DD only has one load(on boot up). There's no loading after that.

i really dont believe that's true. Console hardware makers like Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft would want to keep pricing on development of next gen hardware down.it's all about being cost effective while using the most powerful components.

well, i had a connection with a friend who works at a small game shop, and that's what he told me.
pardon my spelling there. it was about 7 am when i posted that, and i had no sleep the night before.

What the game doctor does is put a strach on top of a strach. kind of funny, really.

the best example is the credits from KoF 2002. same staff from past games.

Personally, as an aspiring arcade operator, my favorite Atari game is Rush 2049, which I feel is the first major step above Daytona USA for the look, feel and overall fun of the game itself. There has not been a _video_ game in the past five years that has had me spend as much money on playing it as Rush 2049. It has everything that both a player and an operator wants in a game.As for old school Atari games, I would probably have to go with Asteriods. After perhaps Ms. Pac-Man and Galaxian, Asteriods would be my third favorite oldie

amen. Rush 2049 was the best to me, also. me and a few friends are avid rush 2049 players. the look and feel of 2049 was(is) just great...
