1. Bryan & Bivotar are right the otter kills you if you stand on the edge of a log. Thanks guys.
2. But you must be really left most than because the beaver vanish after reaching a log. Well maybe you are right I have to check it out. 873709 I found the manual here: http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=F&game_id=7857 Apparently, it's an otter that eats the frog. -Bry 873750 Thanks for the link.Regarding the manual it must be possible to jump onto the otter ("Players can hop on their back (except the snake, whose touch is deadly), but they must avoid their open mouths."). Anybody ever did that without dying?

4. Nope I really mean beaver Look at the row with the snake.
5. Hi, does anyone have an idea what the beaver is for? I read that it would possible to jump on it but every time I tried it I died (I used MAME). To me the beaver seems to be an unimportant game element but maybe I am wrong!?
6. Don’t bother trying frogger on emu7800 the emu doesn’t handle the CTRL in 320 modes correctly.I wrote a mail to Mike Murphy since it is only a small change he maybe will release a new version soon.
7. Yea even if theres a Password secion I thing Save would be nice but can the 7800 use a Save program? 870681 Sure, why not? Just because Atari was too cheap back in the day to do it doesn't mean new boards couldn't be built with battery backup. Mitch 870687 I also thought about a saving feature (for RPG for example) and the highscore cartridge came into my mind. Maybe there is a way to use the ram without harm the highscores of existing games.
8. Have you ever tried the 7800 graphic converter? If so I would really like to know why you prefer the text editor way. 870105 I thought it was mostly only good for converting pictures and not fonts and sprites. I'll have to take another look at it. I don't necessarily create all of the text files from scratch (at least initially). I have some programs I made to convert some atari 8-bit computer font formats to the text files. 870177 It was initially written to convert graphics/sprites (I used it for the Frogger gfx). You wouldn’t use it for a single sprite but a whole “block” (256 byte * height) of data. That means that you would store your gfx in a picture with the width of 512/1024 or 2048 pixel (depending on the color resolution). Font and picture converting was a later feature. I did a small enhancement in the latest version where you can assign the picture color to a “color nibble” before that the assignment was kind of random. I didn’t release it because nobody seems to use it anyway. If anybody made (good or bad) experience with the converter let me know maybe I can add some improvement in future.

10. I want to support POKEY for Frogger but I don't know if it will sound good
11. I think I can only import mod? Anyway I could convert midi to mod and than to RMT Maybe I will use RMT don't know it by now. Yes I thought it would be a good idea to use similar resolution to the original version. This way it looks a bit more like the arcade version. Even if the graphics isn’t very spectacular it nearly needs all MARIA cycles. Maybe that's one reason why the 320 modes wasn't use very often. Another reason may be that the gfx isn't easy to handle because you only can use all of the 6 colors if you choose the gfx carefully (if anybody what to know more about it take a look here: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=68549 ).
12. I didn’t realize that you already published a playable demo but now I found one in the forum. A really good conversion!
13. When will you release a playable version? Btw. using basic for prototyping is a quick and easy way so there is no reason not to use it. I like Blitz Basic even if I don't use it that often.
14. Maybe you should look out for a new job?
15. I don't think so. Frogger doesn't need fancy instruments. I think I can manage to keep the data size low (I will use the Atari XL version as template). But in general using RMT is a good idea (especially for more complex music).
16. Cool sounds guys. While emkay creates fancy instruments analmux managed to get them in tune. Perfect combination Keep it up guys.
17. Amazing work Sheddy. Btw. the XVID video works perfect on my PC (use the K-Lite Codac Pack).
18. Music is pretty good...for TIA. A lot of the harmonies are out of tune. Pokey, please?861139 Yes, I think I will also do a Pokey version.
19. Thanks for the feedback guys! Right, it happend everytime if you just wait long enough. This doesn't happen anymore in the latest version well...
20. Added PAL detection. No speed compensation is made yet, but it should now center on the display and there should be no DLI problems on a PAL system. Seems to work on EMU7800, but would be nice if someone could confirm it on the real thing. Also restored enemy order to the proper order on the first screen. 861239 Now it works perfect on Pal devices. Well done Ken.
22. I added TIA music from Cybergoth to the latest frogger build. Let me know what you think. frogger.zip
23. I just tried Q-Bert the first time on my (PAL) device. It runs good except a very strong color flicker. Fortunately the Prosystem emulator shows the same if you switch region to PAL so you can see what I mean.
