I know where to get the ultima 6 disk images, but i havent been able to get it to work on Steem 2.5 successfully. It needs a 1 meg st, and runs up to the title screen, but after a dozen disk swaps the st bombs. Ill try a real st and some other emu's. If anyone wants the images, give me a mail/message and ill let u know where u can find them.

Hey there Does anyone know of any information about linking a pc parallel port version of a zip drive to an atari stfm? Is this possible cos i know that in order to do it to an amiga, it takes some semi serious wiring and meddling (due to incompatible parallel ports compared to pc). Is this the same problem with the st and pc?? Cheers

Yeah. For me, i think all the lynx was ever missing was an RPG (and despite wot ive seen some catalogues say, gauntlet 3 does NOT count!!). Ive wanted a look of Daemonsgate running, with no look. Id buy the rom if i knew it was halfway complete! Yeah i hope distant lands comes out. Good luck to songbird with that!

Hey Im just starting work on some graphics for an ST strategy game. Im fiding working with the limited colours a bit ...um...limiting. Basically i have 2 options. 1. Work directly on my st/st emulator. I will know my colour limitations working this way, but i cant bear the idea of working off a tv 2. Work on the pc. I can use photoshop to edit the pictures and then convert them to iff with graphics workshop and port to the st. However, the conversion process is a bit naff cos im never sure what colours the st will turn to. I converted one pic to 16 colours+512 palette and it looked a bit odd, thought the 4096 palette was a lot better Well basically i have to stick to the 512 palette. Does anyone have a 512 palette graphic then i could work off, so that i could use as accurate st colours as possible on my pc? Either that, or can someone tell me how easy it is to use a pc monitor on the st? Does anyone have any better suggestions?

I remember that these badges were given away in the uk free with a magazine called 'game zone'. they were always pretty pro-lynx and always gave fair reviews. The badges, i remember, were delayes a month or two from the magazine, as atari were ready to give them out!
