Do you still have these left? Thanks

These threads sure do get more interesting if you add Adrian to your ignore list. Much funnier that way

Why would you need to take the carts apart to clean them? I've never heard this before. I just scrub the connectors down with alcohol and Qtips.. Some games are just too dirty for the Q-Tip method. You can't put enough pressure with that little Q-Tip. I find that if you open the carts and clean them with the pencil eraser, they will stay clean for alot longer. Brings up another point I've been wondering about. Will the games ever really get dirty again? I mean I assumed that the dirt was purely from neglect of the previous owner. Once I clean my games, they get very well taken care of, do you think they need to be cleaned on an ongoing basis?

The Insanely Great* Puzzle Game Thread

Does anyone have the SNES version of Wario's Woods? I do, but I 've always thought mine had a glitch in the options screen. I have trouble changing options because the "cursor" won't move. It really taints the gamplay for me -
If you don't want it, buy it for me. I think it's worth $30, as a collector's piece anyway

The Insanely Great* Puzzle Game Thread

Digging up an old thread here.. I've really been liking Kirby's Star Stacker for GB lately. A very nice puzzler, deceptively simple like all the greats. You can "stack stars" by sandwiching them between two like animal friends. The combos get crazy , and they throw bombs into the mix when you get going. Anyone else like this game? -
WTF? It's sad that he's paying for a BIN option to do that. Maybe he's hoping someone will click it by accident and he can.... no that's too retarded

I agree. For the casual gamer, who the hell is Sammy anyways? Everybody knows the Sega name, I say keep it. Even with their spotty history, I think most people are over feeling like they got ripped off buying a 32X, Saturn, etc. Infogrames made a smart move taking the Atari name and logo, Sammy should follow suit

For anyone who was wondering or decided to forego a GameBoy upgrade in anticiaption of the new DS. I emailed Nintendo to see if it would be backward compatible with old GB and GBC software. It wil play GBA games ONLY. Looks like I'll be buying the NES Classics GBA afterall... From Nintendo -
The Official "Thrift finds" Thread

You see these all the time? I'd love to get another or one in a bit better shape, but this is the first I've ever seen. Is he the big one or the small one? -
It's from the Zelda cartoon, no?

Good finds this weekend for me.. Mario Kart 64 and Diddy Kong racing loose for $8 total A strange NES controller from Epyx that I've never seen before, sealed in box for $3 An old school (circa 1982) stuffed Donkey Kong for $2 - this one's my fave -
I imported the Japanes version. Very nice. Always good to have Zelda on the go

They are not worth anything if you ask me, particularly if they contain games that require saving. I had one of these once that had Dragon Warrior 3 on it, which I played for untold hours only to have the file disappear. Most games turn out alright, but every go I've had with any multi-game cart has had bad points to it, glitchy games, changed text or graphics, deleted saves, etc. Zelda is worth full price separately, if that's what you're really looking for and there is no way you'll be dissappointed with the quality of the product itself.

back to the "is DK really an adult DKJ" discussion. I don't see how this has to make sense from Nintendo's point of view. They are probably just hoping gamers will accept and not ask questions. Case in point: Mario and Luigi in the same race as Baby Mario and Baby Luigi (MKDD). They aren't nephews, it's supposed to be them. I guess timelines and continuity aren't Nintendo's strong points these days

It's for Tyson (or Mr Dream depending). Nice catch Funny how I remember this, but not my mother's birthday

But FF2 doesn't have unlimited continues. At least not on normal mode. It still has way more credits than you'll need though, so you're right about the challenge factor. I highly recommend doing this, lots of fun
-
Yeah, good question

Couldn't the contrast difference just be from your TV rather than by design?

I wonder why it seems common that fans site Final Fight 2 as being the worst or "least best" of the series I'm having a lot of fun with this game these days. The graphics are much improved and the characters are more interesting (Plus there's 3 of them). This is clearly better than FF 1, on Super Nintendo at least

Video games related to the "Alien" movies
figgler replied to The 8th Passenger's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I kind of always though of the original Contra as a combo of Aliens and Predator inspired themes -
I don't have a GameBoy Player yet unfortunately. What does the "GBP Mode" option in the game do? Any difference in visuals?
