  1. must....edit..posts. too mnay tyoing errorrs..
  2. ???? I always liked the SNES remakes are better than the NES verions, if only graphically. I suppose Tecmo is catering to the older nostalgia since most know the originals
  3. They are not the SNES versions? Weird. Or why not have both even?
  4. jeepnut, did you try Grabbed by the Ghoulies? I think it was the first game they put out after they jumped ship. Of course, I didn't get a chance to give it a spin, but while it didn't look awesome, it did look like it had sleeper potential..
  5. I have been getting into Ninja Gaiden Shadow for classic GB lately. If you dig Ninja Gaiden stuff, it's worth a look.
  6. This is too bad really. If we're lucky it won't impact us, the gamers much. Maybe jsut a logo change on games or something. Of course that's some wishful thinking..
  7. I'd be pleased enough. What game isn't worth $2?
  8. Don't make excuses for Rare. Everyone knows that there ability to deliver on time is severely lacking. This is not by any means an isolated incident. I'll admit somewhat it's too bad that I'll never play another console Banjo game, but Conker, Perfect Dark and the rest I won't be missing. I beleive Rare is waaay past their prime in terms of delivering really Wow! software that stands out above the rest anyway. They haven't done this since DKC and Goldeneye. Anyone find it strange that they are still putting out games for GBA?
  9. This is just it, there are no results, and I wouldn't call this completely new. Kameo was anounced for GCN long before Cube was even released. So we're looking at 3+ years in development. Not years of refinement, mind you, but development. Maybe it's just Rare and their famous inability to finish games in a timely manner, but I wouldn't recommend that any publisher looking to make a sucessful game take reference from Kameo at all.
  10. Woah, nice. Though this isn't all my stuff. My Gaming Station is more a corner in the living room. I have a set up with some Coke crates that I dig. GC games fit perfectly! GB titles fit ok too. There is another IKEA tower like the one pictured, for SNES games on the other side of the room. Try to picture the TV about 6 ft to the right of the picture, in the opposite corner. I have 2 other speakers hooked up over there too, for some decent sound on all platforms.
  11. Maybe. I think blind, non gaming consumers will more likley look at the DS because of the GB and the Nintendo name, whether it's called a GB or not. Blind gamers though may look at the Sony offering
  12. I'd like to give honourable nods to Donkey Kong Country (pre-renderring) and Excitebike (programmable tracks!)
  13. It will if you're looking for pure fun and not photo realistic cars and true to life physics featuring precision driving I'm with Jasoco on this one. The DS has already slated numerous games I'm on board for: Bomberman, Metroid, New Super Mario Bros., etc. While the PSP has only listed stuff that ties into the PSX and PS2 titles, none of which interest me in the least
  14. Actually it didn't. Thanks shep, but it's all over my head, man! Long and short will I be able to play wirelessly from my porch with folks all over the place? I keep hearing about hotspots and such, which makes me wonder if I'll have to go to a specific place to get connected with players that are more than the 100ft away or whatever the BlueTooth can handle...
  15. DS has the 802.11 also. This is why I am looking to get help with this new-fangled tech stuff now, so when the DS hits, I'm ready to go on day 1. I hope the link above will help me..
  16. I have never heard of this technology before. What is going to have to happen in order for one to use this function on their new handhelds? Will I have to sit in a coffe shop somewhere for hours each day to play online?
  17. Please have a look http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...MESSE%3AIT&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...MESSE%3AIT&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewIt...MESSE%3AIT&rd=1 Thanks!
  18. Only 3? SNES - World Heroes, Super Bomberman 2 Cube - Hulk (just finished) There have been more of course, but these have been the top 3 this month..
  19. Take this for what it's worth, but it's something to go on.. http://ebgames.com/ebx/product/241868.asp
  20. How much for the Dodge Balls? Do you mean Super Dodge Ball?
  21. I though it would be fun to see everybody's choices on this. Pick the five games you think shaped video games teh most, whether in terms of an artform or an industry.... 5. Tetris 4. Street Fighter 2 3. Space Invaders 2. Super Mario Bros 1. Pong Go!
  22. It would be awesome for directing your squad and implementing commands in Rainbow 6..
  23. Remember how cool it was that Pikmin unlocked a SSBM trophy if you had a game save from Pikmin on you memory card when you booted up Smash? I still think that kicks ass
