  1. "Hi I would like to seriously sell you my playcable."

    1) What do you want for a reference? I'm a System Administrator for a financial institution in Corning, NY. Corning was one of the test markets for these things due to all the fiber in town from Corning, Inc. I remember playing Motocross (I think - side scrolling dirt bike game) on it with my cousin when we were kids. I found it while going through items in an old chest in what's now our house. I initially googled it to see if there was a chance to get it going. My boys love the old consoles and spend a lot of time on my old Genesis, etc. I stumbled in here and found out they were worth some money so I figured I'd see if I could sell it instead.

Ebay account names are often provided as a reference. Awesome find on the Playcable. Do you happen to have the box and the manuals as well?

  2. RT12 productions - thank you for the completely appropriate offer (and the 3 separate PMs) for my extra Tutorvision. Does that include shipping?

Sad news though. Last week, while I was out tending to my unicorn, my mom went into my room and threw out my Tutorvisions. I know what you're thinking - why does my mom have keys to my room? Well, simple answer, someone has to do my laundry.

I do have a couple extras Air Raids that I would consider selling you for $10 if you would be interested.

  3. Hello!

Would somebody PLEASE consider selling me their COMPLETE Tutorvision package (a working Tutorvision console + the 16 special learning games in their grayish-white cases)?! I'm SERIOUSLY considering collecting a real Intellivision setup once again (I had 2 previous Intellivision units back during the 1980s until the mid 1990s, and had 36 game cartridges, and STICKLER JOYSTICKS affixed on the controllers).

Hi. I'd love to sell you a Tutorvision since I have an extra that is taking up too much space. I also have an extra Unicorn, if you'd be interested in that.

  4. I saw this earlier today and it had the obvious stench of BS. No pics? That game list? I've seen so much BS posted on CL that I don't believe anything like this. Why take the time to type out a list like that instead of snapping a pic? Because its phony. Still don't understand what the phonies get out of it though.

  5. I just purchased the Intellivision Rocks CD before they ran out and was wondering how to obtain the World Series Major League Baseball ROM that contains the original player names? Also, I was wondering about the game Super NFL Football. I've seen videos and reviews but have not come across a ROM for this game. Does it exist and how do you obtain it?

Thanks in advance for the help! :)

  6. Does anybody know how to shoot down the red rocket that comes at you just after flying over the last force field and before you go back into space?

There is no bar to determine height or anything to gauge. Help!

The rocket will adjust to your height...it's all about squeezing off enough shots in time. Most of the time I just barely get enough off before it can hit me. There have been a few times where I killed it a bit further out but to be honest I'm not exactly sure how I managed that...probably just time the first shot exactly right.
