oh crap!... im sorry! but thanks for the reply...
currently i have a sprite moving back and forth on the bottom and shooting a missle at a sprite falling vertically from the top of the screen at a random x position, it also has sounds and score (pretty basic)
so for my next step im wanting to have multiple versions of the enemy sprite falling down for me to shoot at....ultimately i'd like to have the enemies also be different sizes and move at random speeds.

im trying to make some differnt sized falling objects... (vertically from top to bottom) ... kinda sorta like astrosmash or asteroids.
i've bounced around the forum looking for something that might help, but no luck.
im using bB ver 1.1 on win7
thanks!

is there anyway to make a score for both player 1 and player 2 in batari??

i got that book ... and it explains 6502 on atari computers but not specifically the 2600/5200 consoles, but combine the stuff in the book along with the newbies 2600 tutorial..and things START to make sense.
the book compares basic and 6502 and how if you know basic then 6502 is easier ... the book is pretty cool over all ... but it's not a 2600 programming bible
i got it for i think $5 WITH shipping from amazon.com used books

i would have to say that i collect to play, i used to collect action figures but to constantly woory about the packaging and all that got so annoying...plus all i could do was admire the collection! --- and then i started collecting things from my youth that i could play with .... it started with a hunt for Battlestar Galactica hand held..... and grew from there....
i had always had my 2600 woody set up in my wall unit ready to play a quick game and started getting the URGE to collect for it after realizing that mom and dad had "accidentally" sold a box of my goodies i had in their garage.... that put me on the hunt to bulk up my collection to it's past cart count..and my collection just didnt stop! --- 25cents here and there for carts was SOOOOO much cheaper than crappy ol' action figures...PLUS I COULD PLAY THESE GAMES! ...
im up to over 400 in my collection and i love the feeling of popping a cart into the system and playing with an official 2600 joystick in hand....to me there is no greater sense of joy than spending all day flea market and thrift store shopping ...then coming home and enjoying the fruits of your labor!!!!

im also having the same issue with 2-9 collision... i cant actually even put in the collision code for player2, it wont compile if i do .... but even without it, when i shoot player 2 it's registering as if i had shot player one
master_programmer, have you had any luck with 2-9 detection?
btw, my current install is the bB beta b with the addidion of the dpc folder from this thread... was the only way i could get it to work ( thanks guys!).
