I purchased the unit from the OP. Been working on it this evening. There was no usable path from where the jumper wire had been installed to TIA so, I jumped straight from the cap c14 to TIA but, I had to replace c14 first because the leg separated easily when I was cleaning the brown goo away.
Then I replaced R5 with a 6.8k resistor because, I normally join R5 and R6 on the North (up board) side and connect those to the audio input of the av board.
That got me TIA sound but no pokey. I noticed on closer inspection there doesn't seem to be any path on either side of the pcb leading to the south end of R5.
Just wondering if anybody knows off hand where I should try to pick up pokey sound on the 7800 board.

Make friends with someone who has a NES. Then go over to their house to play.

Frogus
in Atari 7800
Added a visual and audio indicator that you caught a fly. The sides of the frog's belly now change color when you eat a fly.
Also added two way traffic and time pressure. Time pressure means you must collect a fly and enter a cave before the timer runs out. The time pressure meter are the lattice boxes at the top of the screen between score and the extra lives indicator.
Also changed the way the extra lives indicator works so that it shows lives remaining (not including the current). It used to show total lives including the one in play.
This version also displays a line near the bottom marking a safe zone where the frog starts and can retreat to. The safe zone existed in last version but is now marked.

@SIO2: Do you limit your games to non-bankswitched, because of your RAM cart / devos0.2 setup?
Yes, the 48k RAM cart is an easy build. The 144k - not so easy.

You will probably recognize it as a clone of something. Rules are a bit different though. You must collect a fly to enter a gate / cave. Get killed and you must get another fly.

Might be cool but I don't know why anybody would do it today. There are better options unless you really want to write 7800 games on an Atari ST.Wouldn't it be cool if someone could make a schematic from that and build new units from it?
I have a 1040st setting right next to my 7800. I would still rather develop on the PC and test in emulation first.

This item is sold. Thanks for the interest everyone.

Flash cartridge for gameboy advance.
Cart and adapter for micro SD only. $15 shipped to USA (nothing against other countries, just shipping international is too much money and bother for this little thing). You will need to provide your own micro SD card.
Was carefully used and worked the last time I used it but I have no way to test it now as I sold my GBA a while ago. So you would buy it AS IS.
As I recall, you needed to download some software and create save files for the games you wanted to play on this cart. So, you might take a look to see that you can find and download the software and know how to use this before you buy it.
Thanks.

I will take it. Look for my PM.

Cleaned up the player death animation a bit and added some sound.
This is the final update I will post here unless there are some bugs that turn up and need fixed.
And now, back to enjoying summer

Worked a bit on this tonight. I am having it put items in the lanes a bit more often. I also extended the number of speed ups and increased the length of play between intermission signs. Now you must get 25 items before a speed boost and 50 items to an intermission and another speed boost.
I spent some time playing on real hardware via DevOS ram cart. It ran well and I am satisfied with the game play. For a basic FF clone, it will do.
Next upload will probably be the final freely downloadable version. If I ever make any carts, I might throw in some options as a bonus for the old schoolers.

I don't think the 0624 version I uploaded was functioning as I intended. Try this one instead. Not much farther along but, I have decided to start the game at a faster speed.

Many changes. Improved randomization, now starts slow and increases in speed as you play and eat items, some sound added, fixed a few bugs such as you should not see items on top of each other (aside from the purple pickle which moves faster and so will cross other sprites).
Also, gave the green pickle the most weight in the score. Still avoid the purple pickles. Eat everything else as much as you can.

Was this one factory refurbished? Either way Xbox is great. I love my 360 and Xbox One, but Sony is good too just depends which has the games you want.
Not sure if it was factory or not. The repack was excellent. Everything looked new except it had a refurbished sticker on it. Really wanted it to work. I can see how it got past the refurb though since they would have had to play it a while before it crashed.
Like they say, it depends on who does the refurb. I saw a refurbisher job posted the other day for like $9 per hour. That kind of pay won't usually get the workers who will go the extra mile.

Once upon a time I got a stupid urge to buy an Xbox One. I went to the store and their demo unit was broke. Made me wonder if they had issues so I waited. A few days later I came across a great sounding deal on a refurbed XB One. It arrived looking great and packed like from factory. It started up fine but every game I tried to run would freeze after a few minutes of play. The seller took it back and refunded me but, it wasted a lot of my time and not in a good way. That kind of put me off the whole XBox thing.

7800 av help (no sound)

So if I follow that correctly, you pick up pokey audio at the top of C10 and jump it to that via ahead of C14 and R6? Of course, I won't be able to do it exactly that way since that via is non-functional on this unit and that trace leading to C14 doesn't exist. But if that is the path, I can make it work.
