Your guess on what OS will Ataribox be using?

Thoughts on sound anyone? I thought perhaps when the monster eats an item he could give an uhmmm or yum sound or maybe a chewing sound like 2600 Jawbreaker? Perhaps the monster can briefly swell up after eating a purple pickle then make a fart sound and un-swell. Unswell? All is well that unswells. If anyone has 7800bas compatible sounds they would like to contribute they would be welcome. Just keep in mind there is no guarantee where or if they will be used in the game. Same goes for ideas about game play tweaks.

Atari box. A box with Atari printed on it? Oh, I see that was already proposed in this thread. If there is anything in the box, my guess would be a streaming device that downloads and plays Atari games. Not expecting too much really.

PS4 is popular, but not so popular at AtariAge, why is that?
SIO2 replied to zzip's topic in Sony PlayStation 4
Since I finished Uncharted 4 and Dishonored 2, I have not turned on my PS4. I know some people never turn theirs off but I don't use mine for streaming and don't want to leave it on all the time. I also don't want to wait for updates, don't keep my controllers charged, not into the online gaming... I guess it just isn't designed for the quick / casual game. PS4 is better for the epic adventure where you are going to spend a long time on the machine. I am not finding those large blocks of free time these days. -
Animated mouth and the game should terminate and restart correctly now. Still no sound. sickpickles061117.a78

And that is how it ran in emulation as well. Still early - have not got around to sound or much other than just getting some motion on screen. The game is heavily inspired by 2600 Fast Food and some of it's clones. I imagine similar game play.

If that is legit and Dintar816 Pac-man is on there, I am going to be getting an FB portable!

Come on man, hot melt glue is just like 3D printing or better 3D cursive even. So, why did you not PM CPUWIZ? He has awesome products.

Fat Axl 80,200 Fast Food 1883 A little improvement.

Yes it does. 7800 has won my heart and I think it will forever remain my favorite of all Atari systems. I have a few ways to load and test games now (DevOS, Eprom, Mateos Cart, Harmony) but, one cart that could do it all would be amazing.

@Keatah - BITD a local Radio Shack dealer tried to sell me a 5200 but, I had the same thoughts about it. IIRC, you could buy a 48K 800 cheaper and play more games plus do word processing. The RS guy couldn't talk fast enough to get me to buy a 5200 back then. I have a 5200 now though. It even has its own embroidered black pleather jacket.

http://www.atarihq.com/5200/5200faq/04_12.html Note the words... but most of the chips are at different memory locations. Short answer is there are enough differences that modding a 5200 console to be compatible with the computers would not be worth the effort. People who convert software from 8 bit to 5200 have to reorganize the code to fit 5200 memory and point to the proper address. Not all 8 bit programs will fit or work.
