I just got my 4160STE from Best Electronics. When I power up, she displays bombs across the screen... any Idea what the issue could be? This was a random thing for 1 day, now she won't boot at all and just bombs when I power up. Yesterday, I could get her up, no issues then after a while she would bomb. any help, suggestions appreciated

The unit on ebay is an external model. Does this unit work with (addition) or eliminate the functionality of the floppy? I would like to retain the floppy option as well as add the sd card "drive"

I found on ebay the Lotharek SD card external drive/reader. It comes complete with cable etc. Are there any specifics I need to know or is this a plug and play type device? How do I get games on it? copy from my PC direct to this card and insert into the ST reader and reboot? I am very ignorant, please give me a step by step so I don't screw this up!!! Thanks in advance!!

Guys, I just purchased a 4 meg 1040STE. I have collected from many sites and I would like to put them back on floppy and or hard drive (don't have one yet, which one should I get) I do not want to emulate on my PC, I want to load/play on my STE. if I have the Atarimax 32- in one I can get this upgrade??

will this work with 1 1200xl modded 256k with ape 32- in one (Atarimax) upgrades ??? if so I want this stereo upgrade now!!!

is their a version for those of us who do not have the VBXE upgrade? I am waiting on Steve (Atarimax) to send me my modded 1200xl..... could the VBXE be installed along with his mods or is it 1 or the other...... really would love to get a copy of Moon Cresta!!! looks great!

are there any XEGS games that are of higher quality as mentioned above? I thought the XEGS was just an 8-bit dressed like a console. I am still trying to find Joust (best version) and any other that were better than the original for the 8bit's. thanks for that list..... just a few more to go!!!

is there a list of ported converted games? I would love to do a side by side comparison....... lookin for joust at the moment.. but would love to have the whole shebang!

are 5200 games ported from the Atari 8-bit line? Can the 800 XL or XE play 5200 games? I heard that many games look better on the 5200... how can this be.... (Joust for example) thanks!!

I am purchasing thru Steve a modded 12ooxl and happy 1050. I would like to be able to convert these file types back to 5 1/4 floppy. I know that APE will do ATR files.... is there anyway to convert the others listed in the topic title? Gotta be a way:) thanks in advance, Mark

Does anyone know how to convert atr files, rom files even cas files so they can be written back to disk and read on my new (old) 1050??? I have been in contact with Steve of Atari Max and have purchased (in the process of) a modded 1200xl and Happy 1050... I have many files that I was emulating to use on my PC.... would love to just put them back on 5inch and start my 1yr old son off right. I appreciate any help........
